  This hotel was close to the Amtrak station and I was coming in via train to Tacoma. The hotel provided a shuttle to the hotel and back the next day. The shuttle arrived in a very timely matter and I did not have to wait. This saved me in cab cost. The staff was all very friendly. The resturant within the hotel had good food and friendly staff too... vad folk säger » . - nice and comfortable. friendly staff. Being alone in the area, the shuttle was very convenient to travel with to the shopping center and around. The bus stop is walk-able too.

  We have young kids and enjoyed the indoor pool area, clean good sized room, flat screen tv, and free breakfast, all at a much lower price than other big name hotels in the same neighborhood.   Wonderful place in all aspects. Staff was amazing as they allowed me to bring friends in the lobby for dinner and chat. I hadn't seen them in more than 20 years and we couldn't stay where we had started our evening. So we had an incredible evening reconnecting together in this beautiful room with ocean views.   We had a horrible experience at a no name hotel down the street and the staff at Red Lion was so helpful. We got checked in early, a room close to the pool for the kids, and they even adjusted our rates since we are a military family. - We had a family emergency & had to check out a day early.   Our stay was very pleasant. I also had the opportunity to see an irate guest at the front desk complaining that children were jumping around and making noise in the room above hers.   We stayed in a deluxe king room, the room was a good size, plenty of room. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. The hotel has an excellent pet policy. They do not have a breed/weight restriction on dogs, nor does the hotel charge a pet deposit.
