  We were very pleasantly surprised by the sincere hospitality that we experienced in your quaint & cozy inn. The accommodations were superb & the gourmet food incredible.   This hotel is very convenient when staying in Solvang. I loved the room, the staff, and the location. My only 'Con', and it's a small one, but if you offer a free continental breakfast - please leave the food out and available for the guests. I'm more than capable of making myself a bowl of cereal and grabbing a pastry and someone handing it to me instead doesn't warrant a t - It was a very convenient location to walk into Solvang. I was there for a wedding at the old mission and it was right across the street. I requested a quiet room and they gave us a room at the back off the busy main street. We ended up with a kitchen and separate dining area which we didn't use because we were there for one night. Didn't get to use the fireplace either but it would have been nice on a cold night. The staff was very friendly.

  The staff @ King Frederik was extremely helpful (I walk w/a walker) and couldn't have been kinder. The room itself was very clean and well kept. The location in town couldn't be better.   The garden setting is delightful. It is close to the shops, within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the organic foods for breakfast, particularly that there was no canola oil or high fructose corn syrup in the products served.
