  The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in the enjoyment of our stay. We were excited about our free upgrade to a harbor view room. We stay at this hotel at least twice a year because of visiting family living in Seward. - The hotel was very clean and comfortable.   Sauerdough Lodging's studio was bright, airy, and very charming. It's in a very old building, and much of the original character remains. It was very comfortable to stay in, and the location is perfect - right in the original Seward downtown. The small kitchen, clean bathroom, and comfy sleeping arrangements (complete with flat screen TV) made ... vad folk säger » it the perfect place to stay in Seward. - Loved the location! Right in the heart of downtown Seward. The room was really adorable, and although we only stayed there one night, the kitchen would have been really fun to take advantage of. The unique nature of the lodging was fun as well. Although we never dealt with any person during our stay, 'check in' went very smoothly.

  The staff were very nice and helpful. The grounds were beautiful in a woodsy area about 8 miles from Epic Glacier. Room was very comfortable and free wireless internet. Not too far away from a Safeway/grocery store and downtown. Lovely drive to the site from other areas of Alaska.   Our view from the room was wonderful, we watched the sea otters play in the harbor between the docks. Beautiful snow covered mountains in the background. Window open to the east to watch the sunrise. We could walk to shop & eat, saving gas and getting a little exercise. - The views are always great.
