  The restaurant and the lobby were laid out beautifully. The breakfast buffet had a huge selection, try the omelettes, mine was gorgeous! The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy.   The location of this hotel is incredible, right on the beach with a restaurant on the top floor. We watched dolphins playing in the waves as we chowed down on amazing pancakes and eggs benedict. Its also right on a bike path into Monterey, 20 min ride one way and in the other direction, wild empty wild beaches and sand dunes for miles. Staff super helpful and friendly, especially Luis, even when we asked for room - Their location is right on a beautiful beach with uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean - it's fantastic! The hotel is also well designed to allow views and access to the ocean all throughout the facility. This Best Western truly takes advantage of its prime location. Also it is very conveniently located right off the Highway 1, and is just outside of Monterey so the beach is primarily for hotel guests!

  My wife and 3 kids spent one night to attend a b-day party at Del Monte beach. Couldn't have been more pleased with the price which allowed 4 guests. They said everything was top notch. While viewing the area on google maps, we a noticed a portion of the recreation trail is right next to the hotel. I forgot an iPhone charger after checkout. The front desk called when found by the cleaning staff and I was able to pick it up before leaving town.

  The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly, the premises were well kept, and the price was right! They even upgraded me to a double-queen room when I had originally booked a single queen (before I knew my adult daughter would be staying with me), for less than $8 more. The location is just a couple of miles from the aquarium, ... vad folk säger » wharf, and Presidio, and there were plenty of places nearby to get a quick bite. I will definitely stay there again! - This was an older facility but our "cottage" had been remodeled and was very nice. Perfect for traveling with two children as there was two bedrooms, one with twin beds, one with a queen size. There was a very comfortable kitchen with new appliances but we stayed only the one night so it was not used. A good spot for a longer stay. The room was very clean.
