We really liked the decor of the Luxx. The rooms and the lobby were very attractive and interesting. I was very happy to be able to find a two-bedroom suite so close to the Plaza. We also appreciated having a parking garage so that we didn't have to park on the street. The staff members that we met were very accommodating and helpful. It was a little funky hotel close to everything... with an eclectic style to it. Very nice in size with a coffee maker, fridge and a microwave. Very comfy and enough room to BREATHE! The staff were super friendly and extremely accommodating, too.
alla recensioner » Location was fantastic and we loved the decor and art. It is very arty and warm. There is only the room as no telephone in room and two piece fitness room, tea coffee. Loved the coffee shop/gelato at entrance.would definitely return though. I loved the quirky, funky design in this hotel, its proximity to everything in the heart of Santa Fe without the enormous price tag, the small size and personal attention, the café and sushi restaurant on either side of the lobby!. Everything... Rooms are individualized and personal. Small hotel so the staff is very personable. No keys to keep up with the rooms have keypad access. I liked the closeness to the Santa Fe Plaza, the nearness to the Santa Fe Community Center. The furnishing of the room and its cleaniness. Clean, convience to everything in the downtown area, helpfully staff, friendly, comfortable bed. Liquid soaps in dispensers, Clean. a very individual hotel -- different than the usual "clones". Fun and different design. I felt very comfortable there. Nicely tucked away. Very zin type place. Unexpected and comfortable. Close to everything downtown. Very laid back. Great location. Very quiet. Availability of dinnerware. The layout of the room. The only real negative about the hotel was the fact that there is no sound- proofing and the walls seem to be very thin. We could easily hear conversations from the hallway and the rooms next door. There was not a phone in the room-- had to walk to the front desk/reception area if I had a question or needed something... other than that--- they offered an excellent price for the room! :)). Tv was too hard to work as instructions did not work and computer went thru TV. No one to help after 8pm. Parking $25pn. Parking in Santa Fe is horrible, so be advised you will need to pay 25.00 for garage parking. Paid Parking was the only downfall. There was absolutely nothing that I found unlikeable with this facility. Dark room, small window to pedestrian ally. Parking is a problem. Staff very helpful, if you can find them. Almost too funky and a bit weird. Liked the decor, but it was sort of shabby too. Needs paint as the dark paint looks great, but has lots of areas that need touch up. Fitness room is pathetic. View from window is a lounge area, compromising privacy. No staff around after 10 pm and before 8 am. need an automatic card to enter/exist parking. Liked most everything. The room didn't smell clean and the carpet needed a once over. Hot tub & fire pit patio runs outside back of rooms...very noisy late at night. Hot water runs out around 7 AM. The hotel should invest in a tankless water heater or improve the current system in some other way. nothing really, tv a little complicated on learning how to log in. Hotel had no record of our reservation from letsbookhotel.com. entrance to hotel,especially after 12. Parking lot needs a pass key then it was difficult to return to the front desk upon check out. The staff leave at 7 pm so if something goes wrong at night, you are out of luck. The hotel advertises that they offer Netfix for free, but the bandwidth is too slow to watch it. People partied right outside my window at night, which was a little loud. My room had a funny incense like smell. very dark, small room. hot tub was not hot, personnel were on sight for check-in and to answer questions for a limited amount of time. No one present when we checked out at 7:30 AM. No parking cards for garage access Need to remember combinations for room and pedestrian garage entrance Dinginess of hotel. Small, dark rooms. No hot water one night of two. No tv in one of two bedrooms. No clocks or radios. Few creature comports for the price paid. The brown walls, linens, curtains, etc were creepy along with the cheap furniture with glass tile glued in an attempt to make it look better. One recumbant bike does not a spa make. There is too much lipstick on a pig for the price.
