  We have been travelling around the US for 2 months and have stayed in numerous motels but this one was the best value for money. Room is relatively spacious and comfortable with small fridge. Rear window overlooks nce pool and garden area with a small patio with table and chairs. Also comfortable internal dinning area. Over road to beach and close... vad folk säger » to the major attraction of the area, Hearst Castle (so you can see how the rich and famous live!!) All at a good price. - The hotel fulfilled our expectations, the room was clean and in good condition (except for the shower which was clean but rather uninviting). WiFi worked well and doesn't use a captive portal, so you can use multiple devices at the same time and you don't have to login first. There is sufficient parking space. We didn't dine at their restaurant but went to the 'Cavalier' right across the street which had good food at reasonable prices.

  It is a classical american Motel with great furniture and carpets. Coming into my room I thought - yes :-), that is great for that price! I got a clean room, a clean good bed and a clean bathroom. In the room there was also a small fridge.It was quiet and I slept well. In the floors they have also nice carpets.   Amazing views. Great thought about the room, very comfortable and fantastic views. Room service was great and would recommend the wine list. - Great place to stay good views on to beach. Good food all good thanks

  Well we stayed for 3 nights in a king room that had a 40 inch flat screen tv which was a nice surprise. There was a fridge and microwave and a small coffee maker but the coffee provided in room was really gross but they offer free coffee in the mornings in the lobby. The view was great, the size of the room and bathroom were comfy, everything was ... vad folk säger » clean and welcoming for us. The bed was a bit on the firm side but didn't bother us. They have a partner motel across the street with an indoor heated - Just spent 3 weeks travelling around California in 11 different hotels & this was by far the best value for money hotel of them all. Ideal halfway stop whilst traveling along the Pacific Highway, nothing there other than Hearst Castle. We had sea view room which was large comfortable & clean, everything you need for a stop over. Decor may not be to everyone's taste, but hey folks wake up & smell the coffee, for $70 with breakfast this was a bargain.

  We chose a king room with a fireplace, which was located upstairs next to the enclosed patio and also had a small private balcony with a view of the ocean. Room had a seating area in front of the stone fireplace, a fridge and microwave. Several places to eat nearby. Staff seemed friendly and efficient, although we had little interaction because the room was as advertised and w - I was here for hertz castle together with my family. We spent 3 days in the hotel which has a very good location to the castle and near to the seaside. It was 4th junly, so all the camp sides were free and we enjoyed it a lot. For the hotel, it was nice and tidy with a big garden in the hotel which was peace and clean. The staff were quite friendly and helpfu and expericenced. We just love it!

  This was the best value for money we have had on our trip. Comfortable, warm, clean. Everything provided. We have paid double in other places for less quality. Restaurants are close by and the Inn gave us a 10% discount voucher. Excellent stopping place on the journey south (or north). The inn doesn't have a restaurant but a handful good selections just around the corner or on the other side of the street. The room is specious and clean and shower is very strong.   Beautiful location for a romantic night's stay. Walk along moonstone beach boardwalk (less than 50 yards from the hotel), watch the sunset and then eat dinner in the moonstone grill just next door (good margaritas). The rooms were clean and had a lot of lovely touches, as well as a fireplace that turned on at the flick of a switch. The hot tub ... vad folk säger » was great, just a few yards to walk from your room wearing the robes provided. Breakfast delivered to your room in the morning and the complimentary - Everything! We loved this place. The owners are very kind and friendly! The rooms are renovated lately and are in a very good condition. The whole hotel smells new and looks very stylish. We loved the afternoon wine&cheese, tasting the delicious wines of the area on the garden seizing the look of the ocean. There are lots of restaurants pretty close to the hotel, and a visit to "moonshine" is a must.

  The rooms were FANTASTIC! Best place I have ever stayed in! The décor was soooo serene and peaceful. Beds were so comfortable; we slept like babies. Very Clean & well supplied! We absolutely loved it. I am even thinking of decorating one of my rooms at home the same way. Staff was so wonderful-gentleman at ckin and Carolyn. Have and will tell EVERYONE to stay here!!! - The quaint motel and warm homey environment on the gorgeous Cambria Coast made this a very special place. Seals were on the rocky coast 10 feet from the shore.... The wood boardwalk made for a nice stroll along the coast. The local Italian pastries available with the self serve continental breakfast were an enexpected treat! Route 1 runs right behind the motel it it did not bother is and I hate road noise. Overall a charming place ... Taking one back to the California coast of yesteryear !!

  What was there not to like? White Water Inn lived up to its reputation and glowing comments. Our 2 nights there were so comfortable, sun shining through the window as we ate our fresh and warm breakfasts and looked out onto the ocean. Cleanliness beyond anything experienced. Fresh cookies for a welcome and car windows cleaned each mornin - Everything was fantastic! Staff was friendly and very informative about what to see/do in the area, where to find shopping & dinner. Room was cozy, clean, and inviting. Bed was comfortable and we slept great and woke up rested. After a wonderful stay, I went out to pack the car and found a little note that they had cleaned my car windows for me. Nice touch.

Comfortable bed and 2 good night's sleep. Have good self serve continental breakfast. Walking distance to good bar/grill or 5-10 minute dri - The Castle Inn was a great get away hotel. It had everything we needed! The staff was friendly, the complimentary breakfasts were tasty and the rooms were very nice. They are also dog friendly, so we will definitely be bringing our golden retriever next time. We plan a trip to Cambria in the fall our early winter and will definitely be making our reservations at the Castle Inn!
