The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Since this was parent weekend at Cal Poly, every motel was full. We had reservations but I heard them trying to help people who did not have a place to stay. For the location and price, this Motel 6 can NOT be beat! We reserved 4 rooms and everyone loved it. Great value, and the staff is superb! This will be our place of choice when visiting the central coast.
alla recensioner » Helpful and friendly staff. We had booked a standard room, but staff readily changed it for a handicapped room to accommodate my wife's wheelchair. Newly remodelled motel. Could not fault it for anything. Clean, safe, great breakfast spot right across the street. Yellow cab driver Rob ? Was friendly and drive us to and from downtown for a couple of days. Great pit stop hotel. The motel is in a great location, halfway between downtown - or the beaches. It was clean & quiet. It was the only place I could find under $100 a night. Friendly staff, vending area had a good selection, grounds landscaped nicely, bathroom plumbing had good pressure and was always hot. We were looking for a place to sleep, and not much more. We got that for a good price. location was right for our visit to Cal Poly, & the best price for this event. I like the free parking and nice staff and clean everything. Updated rooms & facility. Clean. Temperature control. For the most part it was clean and quiet. Proximity to shopping golf and beach. Clean and comfortable. A clean quiet room. nice clean pool. Friendly staff. The staff had a hard time with the people above our room as we had to call them 7 times! I think that was too many times to be calling as we asked them to call the police. They are going to compensate us for the first night as well only got 4 hours sleep!!! We had to be up by 6 am too. Cost was very affordable for most although, I usually don't stay in Motel 6. Staff was excellent - friendly, helpful and very polite. Bed very comfortable and so was temperature of the rooms. They were clean and had great hot water for being full. Best farmers market I've ever been to. clean and quiet and reasonable value for money despite higher weekend rates. The sorroundings and staff...... Location...friendly staff. Price. N/A Did not like or dislike. The room was clean. Nice setting. Nothing. It is very basic - no coffee maker in the room, no alarm clock, no little bottles of shampoo!. Pool was not heated, bathroom floor was in poor condition, no flat screen TV, no hair dryer or coffee maker in room. No Kleenex, room smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. I would have liked more water from the sink faucet, but otherwise no complaints. that they all raise there prices for special week ends. Wifi kind of sucked. Wi-Fi is not included. Very maddening that Wi-Fi is not complimentary. The towels were not clean. Our room was not cleaned by 5:30pm on our second day. We finally told the staff to give us fresh towels and we would make the bed. After repeated calls to front desk to clean it so we could use it. Hotel needs remodeling. They took to long in calling the police for the people above us as the adults were sleeping & the child was running & jumping around. When they mentioned that they would call the police, the people eventually left!. No clocks in the room ie alarm clocks, no frig and almost everywhere has those, these days. Very loud neighbors but you can't help that... Booking did not include taxes which wasn't clear. could have used a kettle/coffee maker and small fridge. At around 2 a.m. I was awakened by screams and sounds of broken glass. In the morning signs of blood were vissible 2 doors down. This is the second time this has happened at a Motel 6. You need to screen your tenants more closely and get a security guard. I was even told by law enforcement to not stay at such a cheeze motel chain. However, I was willing to give it another try. I am dissapointed....... Toilet ran all nite long...When I informed front desk at checkout thought I would get a $20 credit on my bill...just an apology. Bedspread is really old-school. A semi truck close to our room ran the engine at a high rpm most of the night. It was a miserable night. The beds were hard not enough pillows no refeg no micro. Thin blankets thin towels. We stayed on there on a Friday night so the price was higher. For just the basics (clean, room, towels, TV, and a bed) the price was a bit high. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice and an extra blanket. A toilet seat cover, a hook, or a towel rack in the bathroom was needed. Bed was HORRIBLE! Most uncomfortable room we have been in in a long time. TV didn't work. Tiny toilet. The room was horrible. it had ripped carpets, the bed was more like a board with sheets on it and the light fixtures were broken and we were afraid of getting electrocuted. Our room was a non smoking room but wreaked of smoke, staff did not help. Dirty bed, Dirty bathroom,. I didn't get the room I booked. Booked two bed and no smoking and got one bed and a room that smelt like there were 100 people smoking in the room.
