the staff was very friendly and made it possible for us to check-in early. The pool and jacuzzi were a nice size and not crowded. Cookies and coffee served in the evenings and a pretty good breakfast served in the mornings. I like that the hotel has a sink inside the bathroom as well as one just outside of the bathroom. I like the Continental breakfast. I like that there are DVDs to rent. There always seems to be enough parking.
alla recensioner » Our room was quite nice. The afternoon (and evening) cookies were a nice treat. The breakfast for being continental was nice. And we like that the pool area is quiet and well maintained. afternoon tea, comfortable bed, dvd movies. breakfast. convenient access to freeway. plenty of parking spaces. air con.room service did a good job. I've stayed her with my Mom a few times and have always felt safe and like the location. This time I stayed with friends and was equally pleased. They were really cool about loaning you movies. They responded quickly when the neighbors got loud. It was clean and the room was big enough. The facilities are in good condition and we always enjoy our stay. The bathrooms are always clean and stocked with nice soaps and other things. Cheap and cheerful. Staff very accommodating and polite. Good value for money.location was good for centre of San Luis Osbospo. Room was very comfortable, upscale and clean. Complimentary breakfast was convenient with small to medium size selection. Loved the staff that checked us in! He was very helpful with information and personal opinions on the local area!. Easy walk to farmers market. Right across the street from Apple Farm. DVDs to borrow and watch in the room. It was close to downtown. The staff was friendly and seemed interested in making my stay comfortable. Excellent value. The breakfast eating area was pretty limited, especially when traveling with a family. The placement of the breakfast foods is in a very samll area. It gets very congested with guests trying to toast, cook waffles, etc. while others are coming by with suitcases to check out. For some reason, the hot tub wasn't working, meaning that we couldn't get the bubbles working. And, it was too hot. We didn't feel the grandkids should get into it at that temperature. no instructions for tv channel line up in room or how to access hbo. This was not an issue for me but I think there should be some info in the room. Minor issue. The "breakfast" was tiny, almost all wheat based and in the lobby which is small. No seating othere than the two lobby couches. The bath mat in the tub could be changed because it was starting to look really used. Desk check in employee was very young and could not answer several questions I had about the downtown area. Since this is a college town and the downtown area is important, it would be prudent for this employee to be more knowledgable. No cookies as promised. Breakfast options weren't great. Room was a bit dark. Breakfast location. Can't think of anything. Had to park on the street because lots of people took up two spaces. Pillows were a bit high. Breakfast was pretty minimal: waffles, plus some toast and cereal. Right next to freeway (although could not hear w/door closed). Breakfast rather basic, not much space in breakfast room. Bathroom was too small,but the shower was great.Breakfast wasn't so good. No complaints whatsoever. Perhaps you could have a lobby area where guests could sit and enjoy a coffee....watch the TV The area you have now is small, busy... I had a room away from the mountains, so no nice view. Bathrooms too small. Old furniture and fixtures. To crowded. Manual front doors lobby set up rather odd. road noise-right at the highway and very loud. Hallways very hot. There was a dead bug in the shower. In addition the pipe on the shower was broken and water got everywhere in the handicapped bathroom which caused me to slip and fall. The hotel gave us a $20 credit for the inconvenience. They should have given us a 50% or a free stay next time. Noisy Not worth the money. The breakfast was awful. And the breakfast room was dark and uninviting. Difficult to equate our experience with some of the reviews posted - we have been travelling across the usa for 3 weeks (& I stay away from home in hotels for more than 60 days a year, on business) and this represents the poorest value for money I have encountered for a long time. The Inn sits so close to the highway that is was unpleasant and noisy. The Inn is a bit old and tired. Unattractive layout and decor of property. Laughable breakfast.
