Excellent location, almost city center (not even 1 minute walk) very convenient for exploring the city. Very friendly receptionists. Convenient to be able to park on site (St Augustine is very busy). Nicely decorated room, comfortable bed. We had a room on the 1st floor overlooking the bay. The room was very nice, the tiled bathroom and french provencial sink/cabinet were extraordinary. Plenty of parking. Very quiet - no sounds from the next rooms. The location was perfect for touring the Old Town district.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. beds were wonderful . staff corrected original problem with room . room was sound proof. convenient location for walking to sites. great seafood rest. across the street. I usually try to avoid too much sugar at breakfast and was astonished at how much there is in this product. Also, it's not yogurt since there are no yogurt cultures in it at all. Rooms a little dowdy, very large king room but space is wasted. For example, bathroom compact but there is lots of room to expand bathroom & toilet facilities. Better bedside lighting would enable easier reading. The pillows were lumpy and the bed could have been more comfortable. Parking at times a little tight, can't think of much else. letsbookhotel.com screwed up in not uploading our reservation which could have caused a very difficult situation if it was not for the staff getting us put into a very nice room. Thank you Bayfront Staff. The water pressure was really low. Bed was so squeeky that I woke up ever time I turned over; had to request small pillow to prevent crekked neck. No refrigerator or microwave. also, more hanging space & drawer space needed so as not to live out of suitcases. Thin floors with alot of sound travel.. A little pricey but still a good value for the area. Right on the harbor. Not every room offers a view of the Mantanzas River. I felt for the price of the room that you should have had a little more to offer for breakfast. The weather - but I can't blame that on the Inn. The pool wasn't anything to talk about. Hearing the guests walking around in the room above us. Thin ceilings. All night activity. Weak coffee Shower drain sloooooow. Street a little dark at night. No internet for 2 days. Breakfast doesn't start until 7am and looked very basic. Aircon was very noisy. Staff not very knowledgable. There was a laundry bag but apparently no laundry service. The bed frames squeaked so bad they kept us up during the night. We told the front office. Front office staff was not very friendly. Breakfast was okay, not your usual pancakes/bacon/waffles like most hotels. What I found was an older hotel with the scent of mildew in the air. By morning I had a hard time breathing. My sinuses and lungs were congested and I do/did not have any sort of copd. I felt that the hotel was over priced by approximately 45.00. My husband and I did not stay for breakfast. The tables were too close together and the food did not look appetizing. We went elsewhere for breakfast. Also...the rooms and bathroom were tiny...not the look that came through on the internet. So sorry... The frog in our room. person cleaning up in the breakfast area not very helpful acting as if people were in her way/bothering her. disappointed with breakfast bar. wash cloth in bathroom was originally a dark color but had bleach stains on it looking as if it was a cleaning cloth not a wash cloth to be used by guests. The room smelled musty and damp. Our towels and swim suits never dried. The carpeting was filthy and, in fact, it was getting cleaned when we were leaving. We were told the carpeting gets cleaned every month, but that seems doubtful. This hotel needs some serious updating. musty smell in the room, not good for people with allergies. Extremely soft mattress. Almost like sleeping in a hammock. Carpet in room had stains discolored, no refrig,. When we first arrived, the desk clerk took two phone calls before actually greeting me, except for raising her finger to me. The room smelled moldy. The breakfast wasn't even worth advertising (bread, bagels, oatmeal, cold cereal, coffee and juice) I would have thought for $144.00 it would have been nicer. The air conditioner was loud and took a long time to cool the small room. There was a pedistal sink which made it difficult to lay out toiletries. Unfriendly reception staff Dirty carpets. Minimal breakfast offered.
