Really appreciated the option from the hostess that checked us in for a room in the lower or the higher floors. Also appreciated having a refrigerator in our room which helped accommodate our needs. Didn't gettouse the Starbucks kiosk, but it was nice knowing we had it in our room. My fiance forgot to pack several undergarments and it was nice to have Burlington coat factory right next door to run to..although I believe front desk would've helped with our situation if needed bc a guest was assi.
alla recensioner » We were greeted by Xavier Lafayette Fox who was so pleasant and accommodating. The front desk staff member, Angelique was courteous and friendly. Everyone we encountered was a pleasure. The room was very clean. The best was the most comfortable I've stayed in EVER. The breakfast buffet was very reasonably priced and included the usual (omelet bar, fruit, yogurt, sausage, bacon, eggs, french toast, oatmeal, and cold cereal). It was right off the highway, very close to the mall, and the shuttle . The staff was absolutely wonderful! I felt like royalty, by the time we left everyone knew our names. It was as if we were one big family. The Shula staff is funny and very attentive. The little coffee shop (starbucks) amazingly friendly. Thank you for such a great atmosphere. Nice hotel, good service. This was an overnight stop on a long road trip so we didn't really leave the hotel. We had dinner at the on site restaurant (good food) and had a couple of drinks at the bar. All were very nice as was the staff. nice people, clean good room with luxurious bed and great shower; looks like outdoor pool would be nice to use (it was winter). Beautiful room...large slider windows to small deck..comfortable beds, very nice layout and fixtures. Very well done! Excellent in really every way. The room when we got to it on the second time around was comfortable. Our toilet was stopped up. The housekeeper fixed it but it happened again with the next flush (of only water). the pools were not kept clean is my only complaint. not especially good food -- even Shula's their on-site "fancy" restaurant is overrated for price; bathroom was very nice but too small. Tv seemed hard to deal with...hand-held unit barely worked. No military discount. nothing to complain about. During the stay, the water was shut off during the day. Not really what I paid for, but guess there was no other time to do it. Told when checked in that the restaurant and bar were full due to Valentines day. Went down to bar and no one there. Felt like we had been lied to. Carpet in lobby and hallways worn out. The only set of elevators is the furthest one can get from the entrance and check-in, ridiculously far! $16 for breakfast, only coffee available is the stuff in the room with insufficient cream and sugar. Front desk did not have reservation. Issue with communication with your site and theirs. They did however honor the email confirmation you had sent me and did say it came thru later in the evening. Kids running through hall opening and shutting doors all night. Poor attitude of bell staff when you did not let them handle your luggage. The bathroom door should has open to the outside instead of the inside very tricky to be inside and didnt have any views room 524. ability to access our floor. Up on floor, change elevators, down one floor. We many times had to play with the elevators to get it to come back to go back down to our #1 room level. I got a handicapped room that I didn't want. My room then wasn't cleaned the next day . And the bill was wrong. They overcharged. All of these things were corrected, but why did I have to jump thru extra hoops?. We did not have enough towels in our room and there were no towels available at the pool,even though they were requested. We had ants in our room!! Even on the bed :(. Check in time of 3 is to late. No comp breakfast not even coffee without having to pay that was a first for us. Very disappointed with cleanliness of the hotel. The first room we were allocated had not been cleaned after the previous occupants. Overall the hotel needed cleaning . Carpets in lobbies and hallways were dirty.
