We loved the cleanliness of this Inn. Typically you will find clean rooms while traveling. Something you 'don't' always find though is cleanliness on route to your room. Well, this place was the exception to that. From entering through the door of the Inn, to walking through the halls, to using the elevator, to using the stairs . . . this Inn was clean. We liked everything about this hotel. From the clean, spacious room to the friendly courteous staff, the excellent food at the 2 restaurants, and the proximity to the subway. We attended the Army Navy game, and we intend to return to Philadelphia and will definitely stay at The DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia City Center!

The location was fantastic - a historic, listed building at the heart of the city with excellent transportation links. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Hotel amenities were excellent - we particularly appreciated the Starbucks in the lobby. The staff were courteous and helpful, and early check-in which was great as we arrived a couple of hours ahead of schedule.

The staff was excellant very personalble. We had just arrived at the philadelphia airport from Paris a long flight and we had a 5 hour drive home. So staying at the renaissance was great for a good nights sleep the bed was very comfortable and room was spacious.and clean We had late snack when we arrived and enjoyed the breakfast the next morning
