  Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice room. $12 parking right nextdoor, extremely convenient for going to Waikiki beach. One long blockfrom the Duke Kahanmoku statue which is dead center on the beach.   We absolutely loved our stay at Polynesian Plaza! Rooms are nice& definately adequate despite negative reviews! Excellent value for money and in the perfect location for shopping in town. The room we had included a mini kitchenette (2 stove tops, microwave, toaster, fridge etc) and also has a lovely pool which we spent a lot of time at and th... vad folk säger » e beach is just a 5min walk away. The room also has air conditioning to cool the room which was great, without this, we wouldn't have been able to st - My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.

  Loved the location - right on the beach with a range of water sports activities available right outside the hotel door. Walking distance from a huge number of restaurants, shops, international market, bus stops, etc. There were also some shops and take aways in the building itself which was very convenient. The size and amentities in the room were great - loved having a washer and dryer to do the families washing! Great v - -FABULOUS beach access (right on the beach with direct access to beach related amenities such as umbrellas/chair rentals, surf lessons, etc.) -excellent security (key fobs, etc.) -lovely staff (always smiling, always helpful) -TRULY FANTASTIC views!!! -comfortable bed -beach towels at front desk -Starbucks 2 mins away from front door (in bottom of adjacent hotel) -walking distance to loads of shops, restaurants, etc. -washer and dryer and fully equiped kitchen were great!!

  We loved everything about this hotel. The location is ideal. The staff seem to genuinely love their jobs and it shows in their outstanding commitment to guest service. The rooms are whisper quiet.   Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other places we checked out. Close to decent restaurants which were less touristy because the hotel is away from the main areas. - Room was clean and had partial view out to the water. Price was reasonable.   The hotel is along the canal and central to everything Waikiki plus the price is right! They upgraded us to a one bedroom even though we hadn't requested it. Nice. If you are expecting a 5 star this is not for you.   Stayed here for 1 night just to sleep after a late night flight in before moving onto the beach front. Staff were friendly and offered us a free upgrade. Room was very clean though dated. Although away from the beach it is really only a few minutes away and you can still see the ocean. I was told that I was upgraded (not sure if that was really the case). The room was of good size and the view was nice. There is LAN internet in the room with high speed.   First let start by saying that it is not the Ritz Carlton; however, this hotel is located right in the middle of Waikiki Beach. When you walk out of the lobby it is ½ block walk to the International Marketplace and a 1.5 block to the beautiful Waikiki Beach. It was perfect to wake up to this every morning, with a very big balcony seating area to have coffee and tea. Studio room was also really big with a full kitchen.   The location in Laie was fantastic and it exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and the property grounds were immaculate and beautiful. Being 15-20 steps from the ocean and a lovely beach was awesome. We came with a group of 12 adults and rented two villas and everyone had a great experience. Very friendly and accommodating staff, the villa are small houses/bungalows that stand a lone on well kept beautiful piece of property.
