Room was VERY clean. - I truly loved the way Shan helped us at the front desk. She was more than accommodating and genuinely friendly and personable. She was amazing.

  Staff was very polite and helpful, we enjoyed the stay and plan to stay there again when we travel. - The airport shuttle and free long term parking on the hotel grounds provided exactly what we needed.

  When we got there we were tired from having been at a conference for several days. We got a room next to the elevator and asked the staff for a room farther away. They immediately accommodated us with a room (ended up being a suite) at the end of a hallway. It was great. - I always like the comfort of the beds, my girlfriend found them too soft, ... vad folk säger » however. I liked the old soap and shampoos better than the new citrusy lemon scents. Holiday Inn Express is my first choice when traveling.

  We were not originally given a room w/ 2 full/queen beds as indicated on website. The hotel said we could pay an extra fee for upgrade. Website indicated we were paying for this already. After some discussion, hotel staff moved us to a room w/ 2 full size beds. However, the refrigerator did not work.   I enjoyed everything about my family's 3 day stay here . Our room was very nice and clean . The staff was awesome !!!! Super friendly! This hotel allowed our dog and gave us no problems. They even gave us a room with a back door which led to the pool as well as easy access to walk the dog. There isn't a lot to do in the area and since we didn't rent a car I thought we would be confined to the hotel . But the manager wh - This is a most awesome home away from home place to stay. The front desk meet us coming in the door, most awesome and then was very informative and helpful with parking reservation, actually saved us a bit of change. This individuals name is Tareka, she is most definitely a people person as her delightful personality showed. She is truly an asset to the La Quinta company and if you see Tareka (night auditor) please let her know and everyone around her.

  Even though it rained and was a dreary weekend, the atmosphere inside the Inn was cosy and warm. There was plenty to do and a variety of places to eat right there and once we parked we didn't have to get out and drive around in the pouring rain to keep ourselves fed and entertained. You could tell everybody felt that way because the staff and guests were friendly and relaxed. - The Grove Park Inn has a spectacular huge entrance with massive fireplaces--looks like the big lodges in National Parks. The old part of the Inn is historic and the setting is lovely in the mountains and on a beautiful golf course. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the most part. The full breakfast buffett is huge and rather expensive but you also can get less expensive food in the shop areas. The grounds are very well kept.

Our room did not have a frig when we arrived and after requesting one the sweet young girl at the front desk promptly brought one to us and also to our friends staying in the neighboring room.   Awesome, nice, clean rooms. Very great for the cheap price! Breakfast was amazing. Staff very helpful and kind. We will definitely be going back to this resort soon! All trips to Charlotte, we will choose only this hotel in the future! - Hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious.
