It was right on a babbling brook that was perfect for sleeping. I tried to book a hotel in Rutland/Killington for the Spartan event, but there was none available.   The room was recently updated, comfortable and clean, non-smoking. Free internet connection, convenient phone, desk are for work. MOST IMPORTANT is that I accidentally left an important item when I checked out. Three days later I was on a return trip near the motel so I stopped to see if my item had been found. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful, and give them high marks for honesty. - The room was well appointed, and met our needs adequately. A weekend away to cross border shop, and a short drive down to East Aurora. Bob Evans &Cracker Barrel nearby is a bonus. The beds were comfortable, and the quietness, being located close to the Thruway was much appreciated. We had concerns the hum of the road might have been an annoyance, but this was not a problem. We would definitely return to this location. Especially if the good rates are available.

  I liked the fact that when I asked for a room on the bottom floor, they had one for me. Not only that, they had overbooked and gave me an exceptional deal.   This is a good alternative to visit nyc if you are not to pay over $200 for their overpriced hotels.The hotel is 10 miles north of Manhattan - 20 min ride by car. You can park at Bronx and take the subway. Our room 11 was clean and comfy. It was clean, comfortable and an easy drive to the Dobbs Ferry train. The breakfast was great - bagels, muffins, cereal, danishes, coffee, juice - the only downside - you had to eat it in your room.

Hotel - The Motel 6 Lake George is right in the center of town and you can easily walk to anywhere in the village. We never had to worry about parking. It's was not the cheapest hotel in town, but definitely wasn't the most expensive and was definitely worth the little bit more that you pay.
