  The location is perfect to visit NYC without the stress of the Big City (the PATH station is just 5 minutes of walking time away and the first thing you see in the morning is the wonderful skyline of NY across the Hudson).   Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, no odors or signs of pests. Beds were reasonably comfortable. The pool was large and very clean. Location was perfect. One block from the beach and board walk. The manager went put if his way to find a wedding ring we thought lost and proceeded to mail it back. He was very flexible in the time we had the room. We were down for a Cheer competition at the convention center and between kids and time restraints he said since it was an off season time we could come back later to get our stuff. That saved us a lot of time and confusion.

  I was pleased with the service that I received from Manuel and Tony the two night clerks. We were staying over on our way to Connecticut and learned that the Governor had closed the state due to a snowstorm. I loved the room and the lobby. The business center was easily accessible and the all over atmosphere was one of - Loved the location! Chose it because it was close to NYC and the Poconos. Went to the Ford Mansion. Enjoyed the hotel very much and all of the surroundings. Drove into the city one day to take my niece to JFK. No problem, easy in and easy out! Great place to stay!   I had a horrendous day prior to my arrival. The clerk that checked me in, totally reversed the whole day! That young man was so professional, yet warm and welcoming.   Beds were clean and comfortable. Good space for my family of six. Two beach passes came in handy. Two flat screen TV's were new, but we didn't use them as there was so many other things to do out and about. - It is not the "Ritz" but perfect for us as grandparents with 6 grandchildren.. could not beat the location and the staff fantastic....

  I rated this hotel excellent overall based on quality and value. My husband and I travel a lot and we don't have very high expectations for a $79 per night hotel. We have visited friends in Mount Laurel and participated in bike rides in the area. Candlewood Suites far exceeded our expectations. We also loved the Candlewood Cupboard ( - We were welcomed from the minute we arrived after a very long travel day. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our plans and were only to stay one night for which we had no problem receiving our refund. The staff was both friendly and accommadating.
