  The facility was beautiful. Clean and update while keeping all the characteristics of its old charm. The owner was there the last day of our stay and introduced himself.   We loved almost everything about this hotel. I totally disagree with the reviewer who said it was nothing like the pictures. It was exactly like the pictures and just as we expected - rustic but quaint and comfortable - and certainly not dirty as another reviewer said. When we arrived there was fresh apple juice and cookies waiting which was deli... vad folk säger » cious. We did get a free upgrade to a king room, which was a nice surprise. We spent the whole evening in the adjacent Shovel Handle pub where the sta - Loved the setting. The room was cozy, however I did notice that there were dirty glasses that had been overlooked by housekeeping, under the bed. We would definitely go back.
