  excellent quality of service and materials, windows and bed - the rooms were very nice, comfortable, clean and well appointed, and not small like many NYC hotel rooms - actually quite roomy. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. We dined at the Japanese restaurant in the hotel and the food was excellent - as was the service.   Small quiet hotel, so no queues to check in or out. Great location, close to Central Park, Rockefeller Centre etc,also close to metro line.Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfy beds. No facilities, other than the attractive roof terrace, but no problem as excellent diner across road and close to P J Clarkes. Grea - Right at Lexington and 55th, which is a perfect location. Clean rooms, safe, good airco. Comfortable bed, yet a bit small for two persons. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place if you need a place to sleep. No more , no less. There's no hanging out in the lobby and meet up with some people, because there is no lobby/bar. The entrance has a counter and the elevator up.

If u need something all u have to do is call the front desk & no sooner do u hang up the phone are they at your door with whatever u need. Amazing service! Excellent location! I would stay at the Mave every time I need to stay in Manhattan.
