  Hotel 140 was a great place to stay for me. I was traveling alone and it was located just a block from the train station. The front desk was great to help me in directions of the city. Very friendly staff. Also after I left and was at the train station having a hard time figuring out which way to go, a young man asked if he could help. He was not at work and I did not recognize him so he could h - Hotel 140 is located only a 5-minute walk from the rear exit of Back Bay Railroad Station. Upon arrival I had taken the train from Springfield, MA. I followed the drive where the local buses pull into Back Bay Station right out to Clarendon Street and bore left. I had just a half-block walk from that point to the front entrance of the hotel. I discovered that the hotel had upgraded my single room reservation to a Queen size bed (and more spacious room) at no extra charge from my original re

  It was my daughters first time to stay at a hotel and it was the first time that I stayed alone with one of my children so it was an experience for both of us. She had a great time at the hotel, loved the pool and the room! I know for now on when we have to travel fo - Everyone was very nice, especially the women who helped with breakfast in the mornings and happy hour in the afternoons. They were the best part!   Very accommodating staff - Located in a quiet side road. Ideal to go shoping by foot. Nice stores (also grocery) close by. As for the rooms it seems to depend on which room you get: I was located 1 block away from Copley House and enjoyed the suite very much.

  Our room was very spacious and had a great kitchenette! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful! The breakfast was excellent and Elena was so sweet and helpful! The pool area is very nice and although we didn't order lunch, you can order lunch at the pool. We loved our stay and would highly recommend! - The landscaped grounds of the PBVR are interesting and beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised that the room we stayed in had been recently renovated. There was a new rug, comfortable beds, and the bathroom was recently retiled. The room was spacious for a family of four. It was nice to have breakfast available on site.

  The location was great, the staff was very nice, the rooms were neat and looked recently updated. The general hotel common areas were clean and well maintained at all times. They had a few amenities that most hotels in Provincetown don't, a pool with a fire-pit, BBQs and cocktails in a lounge, as well as breakfast included, which wasn't bad. The beds were soooo comfortable, therefore a great night sleep!!! Do to the rainy weather, we were not able to enjoy the pool (that looked cleaned and welcoming), fire and private beach across the street. The staff were very nice and attentive. There was no odor in room (no mold, no smoke, etc.). Looking forward to staying there again!!!

  the hotel is really well located, 15 min from downtown Boston. I was travelling with my boyfriend and my parents. We took a suite with 2 bedrooms, and each one has a bathroom, we had a big living room and a kitchen. It was perfect! The rooms are very nice and well appointed. The breakfast is very good. Great choice for anyone visiting Boston but wanting to stay outside of the city.
