Clean and quiet are my two biggies. CSH was both. What amazed me was the level of service. Breakfast was wonderful with specialty coffees and real eggs. The owner and the managers and staff were so gracious and helped with everything we needed.
Thank you for providing a memorable stay for us and our kids from Waltham. You even let the kids (4 of them) have a gratis breakfast with us twice. With hot chocolate. WOW!

The Kendall has a welcoming and helpful staff. They loaned us an
umbrella when it was raining/sleeting which we truly appreciated.
Our room was handicap accessible and the bathroom/room were very
clean and spacious. This hotel has a cozy, warm, Americana style decor
with some very nice pieces of furniture and decorations that add to the
charm. Breakfast was hearty and very good. We stayed two nights

The landscaped grounds of the PBVR are interesting and beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised that the room we stayed in had been recently renovated. There was a new rug, comfortable beds, and the bathroom was recently retiled. The room was spacious for a family of four. It was nice to have breakfast available on site.

We LOVED everything. We were very anxious, as our daughter was getting ready to move into her dorm as a freshman. The staff answered so many of our questions about the move-in, the campus, and general questions about Amherst and the surrounding area. They were friendly, very patient, and amazingly, they remembered us from our last stay in early June. That made us feel very special.

Quite an expensive hotel but not a lot more expensive than other hotels

Unfortunately we arrived just after the bombs had gone off, the staff were on hand immediately to help and reassure us, they were extremely kind and upgraded us to a suite. Maureen booked us in for dinner at a local Restaurant and even sent us over her favourite cocktail while we were having dinner. Room was very comfortable and clean, location was good - will be back!!
