  We loved the view from our balcony and the general relaxed atmosphere of Bass Rocks. The continental breakfast which was provided each morning was more than adequate. We loved the Starbucks coffee! The rooms were quiet and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. The staff was friendly. - Very nice quaint small hotel. staff was very friendly ... vad folk säger » and helpful. Little more remote less convenient than expected. Visited other areas and found Marblehead to be more the area I would have preferred. But still lovely hotel.

  We loved the warm welcome by the inn keepers. We were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary, and we're greeted with a bottle of champagne-- nice touch! We stayed in the Daffodil, which included a king size canopy bed, sitting area, and nice size bathroom. We enjoyed the original, Nantucket paintings on the walls. The porch was a great place to have breakfast or listen to the Blues guitarist who happened to be visiting - The Century House is a glorious and historic home within easy walking distance to beaches and shopping. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were very good, but the afternoon cookies were "to die for!" The building, porch (with refreshments) and grounds were always clean and neat.
