  It really felt like a home away from home, very clean and safe, with great amenities like complimentary coffee and pie all throughout the day. great breakfast and very clean bathrooms as well. i would definitely go back if i'm in the area again. - Great value, convenient location, friendly hosts, and free wifi. A good find in the Harvard vicinity.

  I just loved the historical building and interior, dated around 1861. The staff was so friendly that the stay became like visiting family. The breakfast was awesome, all homemmade and delicious. - The Proctor Mansion is a charming inn with wonderful personal attention from the staff.   What was supposed to be a romantic weekend with the love of my life was rudely interrupted by Snowstorm "Nemo", so I ended up at this wonderful Inn all alone for 3 nights. Still, it's a lovely historic site that was very comfortable and in a superb location. PS - the Sevens Pub right across the street is a great place to hangout in a snowstorm. - Friendly staff, lovely big room, breakfast in the room, treats, elevator, huge bed. It seemed a pretty good bargain. Plenty of drawers and hangers. Oh, and the location is absolutely perfect - close to the T, close to the Common, readily accessible (we did not drive).
