The hotel was just gorgeous, everything was done so tastefully and with great style.
The staff was welcoming and helpful in every way, valet parking service was excellent.
Breakfast was bountiful and offered many great choices.
Our room was huge and had wonderful views of Casco Bay; the beds were firm and comfortable, the appointments excellent.

Very helpful staff-especially liked the ability to use the services of
the hotel van to go anywhere in Portland we needed to, My wife is
handicapped, so this was very advantgeous and also because only parking
is by valet. Very central to excellent restaurants like Hugo's and
Eventide. Also, excellent harbor views and close to harbor walking
trails. Breakfast buffet included in room price was outstanding.

The Inn was very comfortable and cozy. The staff was very friendly and attentive, especially Wayne at the front desk. He made us feel welcome immediately. The morning breakfast was great, and especially loved the cookies brought to our room every evening. It was a very relaxing stay, and would definitely stay there in the future. -

I really like how friendly and helpful the staff is. Fast check in, indeed they have my room key ready when I got to the hotel, almost like just waiting for me. Room is big and comfortable. -

Great setting, close to airport and business meeting in area. Beautiful lobby, great food and service. Sat in lobby by fireplace enjoying the Wed. evening manager wine/beer appetizer event. Also loved so much the huge beach at low tide where we could walk for

My wife and I have stayed at the Samoset Resort a number of times and the staff has always been accommodating and extremely friendly. Meals in the restaurant are excellent and the ambiance (both in the restaurant and in the hotel) couldn't be better - summer or winter. -

Everything. This Inn was everything that you would dream to find in a New England establishment. From the 23 fireplaces, great included breakfast food choice and afternoon tea to the friendly and helpful staff and the terrific and free pick up service from the train to the hotel. The Tavern in the Inn offered a great selection of food with a warm and welcoming service from staff.

very clean, comfortable and well-run. Free cookies, coffee, hot

Two really good restaurants. It's in a lovely setting right on the
water. Unfortunately, we were there in mid-fall. I'd definitely go
