We are a Family Of 4 and enjoyed the city location. We live in
Pennsylvania since 6 years back, origin from Sweden and travel
frequently globally. The hotel is perfect for shopping, museums and a
vast variety of restaurants just around the corner! 5 min from the
Magnificent Mile, 15 min to the Navy Pier and 20 min walking to Shedd
Aquarium. But to the Science Museum we (adults) felt the kids-pressure

I received excellent service from the cleaning, dining and front desk staff. Each employee I met was kind and seemed to enjoy helping me. The room was cozy and when I arrived early tired from my flight I was allowed to check into my room early. I was also able to stow my bag in a secure room after checkout time. Quaint old fashioned 1928 decor. Friendly staff. Great location just blocks to to the Amtrak and elevated train to Chicago. 30 minutes to downtown Chicago. Great restaurants nearby. They put breakfast out early so I could grab something before 7 am. The staff printed out my bill the night before as I was leaving early and told me where to put my room key in the morning.

This is a good location. The red line subway is just next to the main
hotel entrance. The Magnificent Mile is a couple of blocks away. There
are many restaurants within walking distance. A one page list was
provided by the hotel. A business center is provided by the hotel where
you can check the internet and print off information without charge.

Our room was very spacious and quiet. They put us on the top floor, next to the stairwell so we didn't hear any street traffic. I loved how quiet the bathroom was. The lights didn't buzz and the toilet wasn't loud. I was very impressed by the staff at the front desk and would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!

The staff were absolutely wonderful. I was traveling with my two grand daughters and the staff went out of their way to talk to the girls and genuinely show an interest in what they had been doing and had seen in Chicago. They deserve an A+++++ The ladies serving breakfast were also very friendly and helpful. -

Was comfortable and convenient. When I told them that I needed to keep my insulin cool they gave me a little refrigerator without charge. I loved the staff, the cleanliness (to include the best smelling hotel I have EVER been in) and overall facility. The location is wonderful. The staff were all very nice and pleasant and seem to really like their jobs. The food was very good and well presented. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I was on crutches and they looked out for me and my daughter!

room, and Michael, the night manager, handled it just great. He took

Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Concierge services were terrific.Everything was spotlessly clean - great housekeeping services! Our suite was exactly what I had asked for, view included - loved it!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms and lobby/breakfast area were well-maintained. The Starbucks coffee machine was the BEST!! Freshly ground and brewed when you want it...my favorite part of the stay! -
The lady who checked us in, I believe her name was Sara, was VERY helpful, taking our picture, explaining how to use the coffee machine, etc.

We didn't get a river view room, but who we met there did and it was
spectacular! The staff was very friendly, very accommodating. I liked
the breakfast included meal plan which was an outstanding value. The
location was off the beaten path but close enough if you wanted a nice
long walk through the city to take it all in. I was very pleased with
the facility and would definitely stay there again.

The two bedroom queen bed suite we stayed in was spacious and it was great that each room had its separate bathroom. Also the kitchen was great, even though we did not use it. The landscape was beautiful, had grass, trees, bushes, etc. Excellent environment and it also was pet friendly.

It was very close to the Effingham Performance Center which we appreciared. -
Wonderful staff. Very nice rooms, spacious and comfortable. Linens and bed mattress very comfortable.
