  The staff is so welcoming and accomodating - honestly - treated everyone the same. We felt like we belonged there - even though we just came down for the night from Denver (to get out of Denver!) on a deal. Im pregnant and had a massive headache and the staff brought me up a choice of advil or tylenol around 4:30am when I just couldn't take it any... vad folk säger » more. I was expecting to pay $50 or so for it, but it was on the house. Pleasantly suprised! Such nice people. - I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a hotel Experience in my life. We were treated like royalty from the minute we checked in. The staff could not have been more helpful and solicitous. The food was excellent the shopping fun and the added treat of the on site movie theatre just made for a truly remarkable stay. Thanks

  Gorgeous hotel with superb service, rooms are spacious with wonderful linens and sitting area with fireplace, concierge service is top-notch, setting is perfect at the base of Aspen Mountain, lots to do in the summertime: music, golf, fly fishing, hiking. - Perfect service!!!!!   This was our fourth visit to Aspen but the first time to stay there. This trraditional, historical and luxury hotel is one of best ones in the States, I believe. Not only the room we stayed but the common area are so nice!   Merchants in village treated us great. Staff is excellent and very friendly. Went out of way to accommodate us showing up a day early (my mistake), with a full hotel. - Good location but that's about it.

  We were staying in Telluride for the bluegrass festival. A bluegrass band was playing in the hotel foyer every morning and early evening which set the atmosphere well. The hotel was about 20 minutes' walk from the festival grounds in a quiet location, but close to all the shops/bars.   This was our second visit. It felt like we wee coming home. I loved the decor of the rooms so much I have used as the inspiration for my new home in Colorado. It is very luxurious without being stuffy. The staff is amazing. We especially love the complimentary happy hour. Staff was very nice and helpful. They have loaner bikes to cruise around on - but get up early to get your hands on one. They went fast.
