  From the moment we checked in the staff were friendly and welcoming, It felt like a home away from a home! I would thoroughly recommend staying at The hotel California Best Western, The location is central and the staff treat you like your in a 5 star hotel! - Free cheese & wine each evening got you chatting to other residents.   Very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast with fresh fruits, very clean room - I liked that the beds are very comfortable with double sheets on the topand bottom of the blankets.

The proximity to the Civic Center, The Asian Art Museum, St. Mary's Cathedral, Japantown, Market Street, Union Square was great. I liked the plush beddings, the updated bathroom;... vad folk säger » the breakfast area was neat, sunny and the 8th floor location with the cityview was a nice way to begin my day - The rooms were very clean and very fresh feeling with large full wall windows. The daily maid service was impeccable and the staff were all very pleasant. The wi-fi worked well and was free though not quite fast enough to take large downloads like movie files well. An excellent value for the money in a very convenient location just 10-15 minutes walk to Union Square at a fraction of the price.
