Loved the price but I most loved the staff. The hotel was overbooked with a line out the door. You had the most amazing staff that kept their cool and used problem solving skills to accommodate their customers. I was extremely impressed. It is sad to say that it is hard to find that quality of customer service today and I didn't expect to find it at a budget friendly hotel. The room was large and more attractive than expected. And it was surprisingly quiet, although not so much from sound insulation; it simply was not a rowdy establishment. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were an impressive bonus for so inexpensive a motel. The restaurant/bar was casual and friendly. Most of all, I liked the price.
alla recensioner » The staff is always courteous and friendly. Rachel, Dolores, Elvira, Shawana, Yamara, (not sure of spelling), and even help me Rhonda. The whole staff is very conscientious and warm... good people working at this hotel. Very helpful, and kind. Beds are extremely comfortable. The Value for my money was Amazing. One of the Best I've had in a Very Long Time. The Staff Was Efficent and Courtesious. My stay was hassle free. My Room was Perfect. Size, Comfort & Cleanliness was Superb!!! Will make this my regular stay from now on. It was clean and decent. It is showing it's age no doubt but I would go back there again at the same price or lower. You get what you pay for and this was probably a better deal. No amenities but a place to sleep in comfort and safety. Rachel, Shawana, Nubia and Yumira were great greeters. Room is always comfortable and clean. All the staff very friendly and respectful. very clean, more more so than any other low budget motel. great if you need something cheap and you don't have any meetings. Rooms were adequate and clean. Of course, I understand the restaurant is not hotel owned and operated. Décor in the hotel lobby and other public areas was unattractive, but quite acceptable in view of the low room price. The restaurant, too, was visually unappealing. I would like to have a small fridge, and more television stations to choose from. It is showing it's age, the shower was a bit ancient. The tv was the old tube type but if they updated the TV's they would have to increase rates to pay for them. I would still like more cable channels, a microwave and small fridge in the room. shower pressure was very low, no iron or ironing board. Bring your own pillow. Too many smokers gathered about the entrance to the restaurant and lobby. The soda machines were overpriced and some of the ac units were noisy. The AC unit was loud. You have to pay for internet. Area. Rrestaurant choices not very many. Ice machine didn't work. It was a little bit close to the ghetto and some of the tenants weren't exactly the best of repute..I Was a bit concerned to park my car right outside filled with all my stuff for moving...the staff was friendly however. pool is often cloudy and or green. Noisy guests running around. Could improve landscaping and its a little noisy at night because of the planes and people walking around. ONE front desk agent was rude rude rude she was white and older and didn't know what customer service meant. the other agent at night was complete opposite and so sweet she was black and a great help in many ways. It was suppose to be a non smoking room, but it clearly smelled like smoke the minute I walked in. I sprayed Lysol and opened the door for a while. Fortunatell I had Lysol and tape, because I then taped up the vent in the bathroom which may have been allowing the smoke from other rooms(sharing vents)to come into my room. I still don't know if that was the case. though I have stayed here 6 times this was the first time I had stained towels uck!. One ice machine near pool area only. Pool was not clean. Room could have had a hair dryer and some shampoo. Outdoor pool could have been heated. It was freezing. Outdoor carpeting could use replacement. Looked very seedy and dirty. Noise from freeway was noticeably loud. Shower head needed to be replaced, as it didn't allow the full flow for the amount of water pressure that was available. The carpets & chairs would benefit from a shampoo / clean. At night you may meet beggars outside the hotel. Rooms are not quiet at all. I could hear every single person that walked passed my door. One person was on the phone outside of my room in the morning and I could hear every word. Not fun when you're trying to sleep. Also, there was a long hair in the bath tub. Yuck. Television and no free wi fi. No shuttle to airport. Entrance not clearly marked or was blocked by a semi. Nothing in particular, but didn't need to be more than 1 night. While booking it doesn't ask smoking or non, so we got stuck in a smoking room the first night but was transferred the next day to a non-smoking room but if you left the bathroom door open it smelled like a smoking room, smell coming through the vent in bathroom. 105. No irons in room. having to pay for wifi no ice. very dirty grounds. crackheads and prostitutes abundant. taxis won't enter premises as too dangerous. my vehicle stolen from parking lot 1 year ago. The smell of cigarette smoke. unbeknownst to me they incorrectly marked me down with a 1 night reservation when I had reserved for 3 nights. after 2 days without notice while I was out touring they removed my belongings from room and put them in a receptionist's closet. I returned to find someone else smoking in the room and all luggage missing. I was told I had only reserved for 1 night. later when they discovered the mistake they placed me in another room. strictly bush league operation. Bare minimums in rooms. Desk agent was more worried about her Iphone than her guests. Noise level all night was awful- doors being slammed, people yelling at each other. Ice machine was inoperable. I felt that I was an inconvenience to the staff. Next time I go to Phoenix, I will be sure to spend a few extra dollars for better service. The beds were very hard. Didn't get much sleep because of the noise from the neighbors. There's only body soap, they're should be shampoo and other items should be available incase people forget something. The hotel was understaffed, One receptionist during peak check in time, she was nice, but one person can only do so much.It took 40 minutes to check in.The hotel faces the freeway and it is loud.The peope who stay there seem scary and seem shady and dirty, not all but most. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.Worst first impression from a hotel ever. The room itself was okay for the money.This is the first review I have ever written for a hotel. Management step it up. Horrible smell in the room Toilet would not flush. Creepy people. Outdated decor. Loud neighbors. No shampoo. A lot of criminal activity. Not at all a safe place.
