Loved the idea that we could wake up and look out the door directly to
the ocean. Great time of year ( October) to go. Off season prices and
peak foliage. Also liked the idea that it was centrally located to every
point in Maine. -
The suite was well appointed and very comfortable. The ocean view was great and we were a few steps from the beach.

My girlfriend and I are both professional people, but we have simple tastes. The number one thing we look for when we stay somewhere is cleanliness. The Sea Drift was extremely clean inside and out, including the swimming pool! The staff were very friendly and wanted you to enjoy your stay. They treated you like family. When we checked out, Missy, the owner asked if there was anything they could improve on....when was the last time someone asked you that in the business world? If we go back to

The beach was great! Loved that they provided beach chairs, so we didn't have to lug ours around. The room was spacious and had more than we expected. We saved money by buying a few groceries and using the grills they provided and the stove and fridge was great to have. The rooms were immaculate, staff was awesome, and always ready to help. Price

I had a business meeting near Portland. Wanting an extra day at the beach which is wonderful. I was lucky in a tiny cabin away from the main road. It was quiet. I felt safe, could walk to the beach. Nothing fancy, but quite comfortable for my purpose.

The location was great.The owner was very accomodating.We were running
late and got lost. He called us to check on our arrival time and stayed
on the phone and directed us to the motel.The room was rustic but clean. -
15 minutes from Portland and you can literally walk to the beach or 10 minutes to the pier. Fantastic value great management staff
