Art the owner was the BEST! My sons had the best senior week ever. Once Art knew I was a stern, watchful but caring mom. He was very nice and helpful to my boys. Too bad the room two door down did not have parents that taught them manners. At the end of the stay he called me and thanked me for having respectful young men I my family. Truly the ONLY place I would recommend for downtown OC!!!!!!! I wish I could give ten stars however this hotel is worth much more.
alla recensioner » Great location - couldn't be better, not too close to the noise from the fun-fair on the boardwark, but right on the beach and with a wonderful view from the large balconies at the end of the house (not from the rooms). Free parking close to the motel and fridge. I travel with my small dog. This one of the very few pet-friendly motels in Ocean City. The staff was very nice. The location is great, right on the boardwalk & beach. Very comfortable bed. Older motel but very clean. Love that it is non-smoking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My grand daughter came for two nights and they didn't charge anything extra and let her park her car . Parking is at a premium and only 1 car per room is usually allowed. The location on the boardwalk was great. The staff was super nice and accomodating. There was plenty of parking. The location was great. Loved the side ocean view, and the third floor porch. The price was right for the accomodations. The staff was very nice except for the maid did not make our room. The decor was interesting and the hotel was clean and pleasant. This is a dog friendly hotel and it appears those with dogs are put on the first floor where there are tile floors. We had barking dogs when their owners would leave them in the room alone. They would bark for hours.We had stayed there before and the room was very nice, this room was a little tired. No flat screen tvs. Found a live roach in bedroom. Smoking and cigaret butts on the balcony. Charged extra for the ocean front room which was adverised at a given price, but raised when we arrived. Spend a few dollars more and get a decent place.. This had no microwave..NO Tellephone.. No locks on door... No coffeepot... Room very small if over 2 people in your party.. Bathroom tiny.. Beds even small... Good thing the owner was very nice and accomadating.. Never will return there though... Rooms are a bit small. Everything else was fine. Noisy people above us but they were taken care off by the manager. Walls seem paper thin. Not a luxury resort - so if that's what you are after look elsewhere. But great for a nice little 2 star RIGHT on the beach. Nothing negative to say. I expected what we recieved. I read the prior reviews before making my decision. Room was out dated. Ocean City in general is overpriced. small, very plain rooms. The rooms are small. The toilet does not flush property. The hot & cold water in the shower is hot than cold than hot. The decor could stand an update. The cost. Should have said online more then 2 people extra person charges is $10. The hotel had the hot water that wouldn't shut off made. Room muggy said room had a microwave and didn't but all and all the stay was nice for the cost thought would have a hair dryer phone and all that most places do we make do with what was. Rooms were small and beds were hard. Not much for the money it cost. no phone. no pool. way to many pets. The rooms was to small and the furniture needs to be updated the Television set was old and out dated the blankets and bed spread had stains no micro wave in room. I personally think it was too pricing for their commondations it lack any luxury no luxury at all.It was too expensive. There were no phones in the rooms and the cable tv wasn't very good! Not very many channels for children. The overall cleanness of the facilitly was not good. The sheets on one bed were not changed. Not sure why?. Facilities were old and had ground in dirt. Toilet was cracked and crudely glued together. Carpet was worn & dirty. Sink & tub was missing stoppers. Television was old. No phone in the room. Had to go downstairs for inquiries. Wifi password should have been supplied at check in. I booked my room online for 2 nights but when I got there they told me I was only charged for 1 night and they charged me more for both nights than what I originally booked for thru letsbookhotel.com. Instead of being charged $179 a night they charged me $197. It was very small rooms. No chain lock on door. No peep hole to see out. No phone in room to call front desk.
