  Very friendly service; well laid and comfortable rooms Importantly, for those who like to wander; very close to public transport. (And I must add public transort officers are incredibly helpful) - Great plae. We had our whole wedding party stay there in 2012 and we went back to stay for our anniversary.

  The staff was truly amazing! They were so friendly, accommodating and accepting of the large party of girls I was wish.   Love that this is not just a "pets accepted" hotel. They genuinely enjoy and are friendly to the animals and the owners. My dogs loved having a vacation with Mom and Dad. They were given treats and had plenty of room to enjoy the grounds with the other dogs on property that weekend. I recommend this to all the dog parents I know. We didn't have a dog, but the hotel was very dog friendly with dog washing facilities at end of building. I also liked the fact that we had a big refrigerator & microwave. The pool was also wonderful.

Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable! When I read the description of the room it didn't say there was a fridge, microwave or coffee maker...when we walked in the room there was a full kitchen! The staff was always walking around and cleaning up even late at night. One staff member saw us up late and alerted us he had a parking spot open up front so we got to move our car closer.

  I like the close proximity to the beach,shopping,and dining establishments.I Also use the bus and trolley for getting around when I do not walk.Easy access to the bus stops and trolley are very helpful and save me money getting to and from the airport and historical and visitor sites.I Also was very impressed with the newly renovated rooms.I Have ... vad folk säger » been staying at Pacific Shores Inn for almost ten years and found the renovations remarkable.I Will stay there in the future. - The place was within walking distance of where we wanted to spend most of our time. Fairly quite but a few kids seemed to be having a good time. Beds were comfortable and the bath seemed recently remodeled (even granite counter top) with a huge shower where, I suspect, the tub use to be, which was fine for us. We will no doubt return one day, especially since, for the location, the price was pretty reasonable.

  We were pleasantly surprised to find the location was within walking distance to Belmont Park. We were also able to rent bikes and cruise the boardwalk as well as the bay. There are restaurants, shopping, convenience stores, drug stores - just about anything you could need - within walking - The rooms have been recently refurbished and are to a really good standard (not just to usual new bed linen and same old bathroom refurb). It was clean and modern and within a half a block of the fantastic Pacific Beach. It was also only a short walk to the many local restaurants and bars.

We upgraded to the "Presidential suite" which was a full view and a step up in luxury.
