The location is fantastic, the rooms are actually each one boat laying
at a dock, I got a bit of a shock when I saw I was going to be sleep at
a real dock where sailing boats also were laying. It's very simple,
no fancy rooms at all, but was very clean and had both tv microwave and
refrigerator. But the main thing with this hotel is the venue.
I enjoyed the privacy and being able to sit out on the boat instead of being cooped up in a hotel room. The area was peaceful and quiet but had reastaurants right in the area. The man who checked us in was very friendly and checked us in early (20 minutes) since there were 3 people waiting to check in.alla recensioner »
What a great way to spend a night in an old houseboat tied to a dock.
The thunderstorm that night caused a gentle rocking that really put one
to sleep a really unusual experience with friendly staff and
surprisingly good water and bathroom for a boat.
You have to love being on the water. They offered us an upgrade that slept 6 - we turned it down because we wanted the houseboat. Much smaller quarters but you literally sit on the deck and watch the fish jumping and the dosphin swim by.
We saw a Manatee that the cleaning guy said visits almost daily. The
nature of the setting. THe rocking of the house boat. The bed was
Very comfy, but sqeeky when you move or got up. Microwave/ Fridge
in the room.
I loved the floating room option .. Such a cool experience.. I'm 25 and we went for my boyfriends 35th birthday and it was definitely the time of our lives and we would definitely stay there again!.
It was lovely to be on a boat and the cabin was comfortable. It was a great experience which we will always remember. The wifi was good.
It was awesome and my enjoyed sleeping on the boat it was soothing and relaxing. I would definetly recommend to my friends and family.
Loved being on the water. Staff was very laid back and very nice. Very good value for the money. Would definitely stay there again.
sleeping in a boat was amazing, i got best night sleep ever... the owner is very friendly and nice person.
Funky, private, cozy little boat house room. I like to stay with the little guys, not the big chains.
It was eazy to find bed was comforable eazy to check out good place to put your stuff down and go!.
This was a very unique cozy place. We loved being right on the water to
watch the sunsets.
Quiet, relaxing -- sit on the deck
of the boat and read. No stress.
Great for the price!.
Cute little bungalow, we were allowed to check in at 11am. @ $67, it was a deal.
Good location, gave a sense of the Keys without lots of people around.
A unique living experience. Very quiet and relaxing.
nice boats and relaxed athmosphere
very friendy.
The opportunity to sleep on a houseboat.
Amazing and suggestive location.
Location, Location, Location.
We stayed here for 1 night on our way to key west. It is very nice to sleep on a boat for one night and it is a beautifull location.
Great expirence nice view !! Very relaxed!!.
The staff was accommodating to our needs. We arrived before they opened
at 3pm so, we continued with our planned activities. We called to let
them know we would be there very late (after they closed at
midnight)they made it possible for us to access our bungalow. The
bungalow is dated but the shower was nice and hot.
I did not like anything about that place.
Economical, convenient, simple.
Localization is good.
Could have had small battles of schampoo and bath stuff since I
didn't have any with me !.
Although there was working AC, it could get a little warm at the front of the boat in the middle of the day. I could handle the very soft and slightly sinking-in bed for two nights but I wouldn't want to keep sleeping on the bed. Maybe I'm just used to a firmer mattress.
Very difficult to find if relying on gps as addresses in the keys
don't follow logical order.
I had to buy paper products to make instant coffee and oatmeal. No big deal. I got bit by the no-seeums, but that was true of all the places we stayed. They gave us several choices and the best houseboat was the one with twin beds instead of a double which was preferred. Again, that was our choice and it was comfortable.
No ice machine on property; And we r gonna need more towel in the room.
It was quite expensive for the facilities.
Water pressure in the shower was not very good. Could use some curtains on the windows.
its not really very clean... no breakfast, no coffee... but it is really worth staying there if you are on the budget and you like interesting locations.
couldn't use the fridge wouldn't use the microwave.
Taking a shower was a miserable experience. There was very little water
pressure. There was basically a trickle of water.
Very small -- not for someone
looking for luxury.
Decor was that of yard sale leftovers but suited it's purpose. Widow-shaker took forever to cool room.
nothing noticed.
Not enough time to enjoy the view.
The furniture could be improved.
It rained too much.
The wifi is not that good.
They do not clean if they do its a very bad job. Sheets where not cleaned and had someone elses hair all over the bed and bathroom was not cleaned at all!!.
Not worth the money spent for sure! Everything was covered in this
1970's spread with broken furniture. They did not leave us the
access code for the WiFi. Duh, that is why we picked this place. They
don't open until check out at 11am so, no WiFi from 2am until
checkout. Hello? We're leaving at check out people!.
Not up to code. Old wood structure without fire sprinklers, toilet seat not open in front. Noisy window A/C. Bed legs broke and bed tilted so one feels like holding on to keep from getting dumped onto the floor. Bed can be described as sleeping on a bag of golf balls!.
The rooms were small, furniture are really old, room was dirty, beds looked like they didn't change the sheets because it was wrinkled and had hair on it. Show was old, no hot water. The place look like a run down old motel, worse than motel 6.
The no smoking room reeked of smoke and febreeze. The person I spoke
with acted like it was no big deal and that it was something that
happened all the time and I just had to deal. I have severe allergies to
both fragrance and smoke, it was a big deal and it sucked. It was
especially difficult because I was diving and it could have ruined my
whole vacation if I had started to have difficulty breathing.
My room was cleaned ONCE during 6 nights stay, after I requested that from manager. They claimed they do not know why my room was not cleaned, and that they will fix the problem, but next 3 days the situation was the same.
The whole package. Internet very misleading. The place is a dump in a
crappy area The black mold was so thick on the window sill, you could
scrape it off. The sheets had pee stains on it, there is no vent in the
bathroom so guess what... It stinks. The place is a rip off.
