I had a very good stay at the Ramada hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in close vicinity to a lot restaurants and shops. I traveled as a solo female and I felt safe in the hotel and surrounding areas. I traveled through the city by using the transit which is very cheap at only $1.50 for most buses. Although if you are going somewhere alone in the night time, I would recommend taking a taxi because some areas I did not feel very comfortable walking through by myself.

Yuvi was an amazing front desk assistant. She went above and beyond to help us after a horrible experience at a neighboring hotel. She made everything better and helped us immediately. Best breakfast buffet I have had in a long while. Right in the heart of downtown, although the area was near a sketchy part of it. That is what you can expect in any big downtown area though. The pool was secluded, nice to have the Spot restaurant available near the hotel. I like it we got checked in and into our room.. Parking was great. And our room was amazing.it was close to everything that we were in town for.great location.free wi-fi. A wonderful breakfast. Its a pretty good hotel to stay clean, 15 to 20 minutes drive to the city,location has some good food outlets ets. My family really enjoyed the stay. The staff members were very friendly even when we came in very late at night. I felt welcomed and the room was very spacious and comfortable. It was a rather good choice for a brief business trip to LA. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good value for money and more... They provided FREE parking when other places charged to park your vehicle even if already a guest. Reservations were easy to make. Great location. Easy to get to several great activities in LA. Homely ambience Proximity to shops and restaurants Quiet atmosphere Wifi availability. Greatly appreciate that even late at night I was greeted with a smile an easy check in. The location was sutibal for me and the size of the room big enough for us . Minutes away from Staples Center, Pollo Loco/McDonalds across the street. Easy check-in and check-out. Staff was very helpful and always smiling. Front desk was extremely accommodating at both check in and check out. Location and value for money. Most of all, staff very helpful. Next to the Staples Center and middle for all the attractions (Disney,Hollywood, bh, Uni. Studios) - about 15-20 min drive. Breakfest was all right. Free parking. The girl in the reception did great and saved us by giving us her iphone charger although she didn't have to do so. In the room there is a big fridge and a microwave and a coffe maker. Tv was (flat) big and had good channels. Great prices will bring, worth the money. Close proximity to the Staple's Center; the staff tried to make me happy when I voiced my displeasure about loud music and people. I was moved to a suite, but I could still hear the music and was quite frustrated. Location was good- ony 1/2 mile from Staples Centre. Pool area also good to relax after a long day. friendly very helpful staff & car parking facility great & well manged.. Staff was friendly. Nothing. That there was no breakfast- include it in the price and put the cost per night up a bit if you have to. Sketchy part of town. Wasn't as clean as I would've hoped but it was okay. The cab driver the hotel provided overcharged us.. probably for being tourists. pity they serve no breakfast. We had great troubles with the toilet not flushing. We unfortunately did not flush the TP and that made for many bags of garbage for us. They plunged the toilet quickly but it never was "fixed". No breakfast package. The room far away from the left . What is there to not like. Shady neghborhood and... We checked in @ 3 am and our room was level to the street. Window was open and did not have a screen on it. I did not report it though, we just shut and locked the window, checked the closet and under the bed for any uninvited guests and went to sleep. The sliding door in my room, leading to the garden area, was not able to lock when I arrived. It was eventually fixed. Parking. the ac filter need changing. the room would not get cool. we were hot at night and in the morning. Internet very poor. Smell of the room. Water in pool not so hot. For some reason we got a handicape room with no bath tub. Although the room was clean, the hall is a bit different (not too bad though). No heat in the rooms only ac. We had no safe in te room. The wi fi was a bit slow but after all that I still recommand this hotel. No shuttle service to Staple's Center; the bar/restaurant (or was it the hotel) booked a party Saturday afternoon that lasted through 1:00 a.m. I was annoyed with the music and loud scene. I could feel the music underneath my feet. The mirrors were rattling from the music. I had to call several times about the music before management moved me to a suite (at no extra charge). However, I could still hear the music and loud obnoxious people from this room. Air conditioning wasn't working and there was no hot water until after 8am. The excuse given when we queried was 'Lady, water has to come from long way!'. Room tired & small; poor range of fitness equipment & facilities (non air con); location wasn't really as Downtown as described. The heating system in the room did not work properly ... we set the temp to 65 and the blower ran ... but the room never got warm ... all night long we kept waiting ... but it never got warm ... Water in pool was freezing cold! Small ants in the room. staff is too cool , not much passion. facilities are old ,shower room`s glass door not slide well. too many room but only one elevator , we need to walk almost 100 m (include two turning) to get the elevator. standard rooms that could do with some facelift... But altogether it was fine. Transportation from and to airport. surroundings area is not save. Pool was dirty. Neighbourhood is not so nice. There were ants in our room, the bed was so uncomfortably hard we couldn't sleep and the staff was not very helpful. The hotel staff ( particularly the front dest receptionist , a certain tony honorio) was not hospitable. They do not adhere to the first requirement in sales when confronted with a customer, which is " greet the customer with a SMILE". The ac in our room had a problem and we hardly slept for one night. It took the daughter of the hotel to have it fixed immediately the following morning. location was not safe are of LA and it was in a rough area . Hotel is very old and bed covering was very dirty. need some renovation. Carpets were very old. bugs on wall. everything is old. the room and beds were to small suppose to be queen room and beds and they were not Saturday night had a party in the ballroom which was right below our room and the music was so loud we requested to be moved. the parking is a night mare. Ants in the room, no heater, bad value for money. I was given a room with unfinished paint job. Ghe hotel should have not sell such room. Very depressing looking. Room smelled like mildewed wood. Make my close stink. Left after one night and they want to charge me for 4 even though I was booked for 2. It smelled of a mix of cleaners and stale hospital smell! The room was way smaller than expected after seeing it online. The bed skirts were ripped and has black marks all over them. I didn't even want to walk barefoot on the carpet!. Room was disgusting and in disrepair. Lights in bathroom were out. Price was not the same price quoted. Price was outragous for the room. Room rate was worth about $50/night and they were charging $225! Per night. Horrible!!!. The rooms looked like they were under construction by workers who had no idea what they were doing. Electrical outlets didnt work. Walls had holes in them. Table was uneven and wobbley. Attached bar/nightclub was full of people that you wouldnt want to walk down a dark alley with. Will never stay there or recommend it to anyone again. Not clean Old Noisy AC. This is the dirtiest Hotel i have every stayed in my 30 Plus years of traveling. I live in Indonesia and i never seen a Hotel as dirty as this in this Country. The hotel is a disgrace to the Ramada name. After I spent a hundred dollars there I accident left my car keys in the room. One employee told me she would send them to me now im being told they won'T. What kind of service is this....HORRIBLE Customer service. Do not stay here.
