  This hotel was fabulous from the minute we checked in 'til we left. The staff was refined, kind and accommodating. When we returned to my room the night of my birthday, I was surprised and "touched" to find an amazing little chocolate mousse cake and a handwritten birthday card!   The staff at this hotel was one of the best I've ever experienced. Considering this is a 4-star and not a 5-star, my friends and I were extremely impressed by their helpfulness and friendliness. One day during our stay the pool had to be closed for a few hours unexpectedly while it was treated with chemicals. On week end the village gets alive and ther is a lot of peoples and activities (we had fire works, jazz concert).   My wife and I have found the Candlewood Suites a great chain. You will not be dissapointed with this Las Vegas Hotel. Ok it is not directly on the strip but its only 10 mins by foot which suited us. At night it was quite and it also has plenty of parking. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. The well equipped kitchen was a god send ... vad folk säger » as we wanted to cater for ourselves. - perfect for longer stay with family, amenities like kitchen in the room, free laundry and fitness (although needs some repairs)
