  To give a little background, I have at one time lived on south beach near 10th and ocean. So I am quite familiar with the area hotels. Since moving I have been back to the area dozens of time for both work and play. Have come alone and with my family.   Great location...in front of a perfect beach, staff was amazing, concierge was very helpful, complimentary drinks at check-in were appreciated...   Like everyone who takes the time to write this reveiw, I liked the location. The two ladies who works the morning shift are excellent. I like the 24 hour convinence store attached to the hotel and the cafe tables outside.The kitchen in the room is a huge perk considering that south beach restaurants are expensive.   The room was clean, comfortable and I really enjoyed the bed. It was a little hard but that is the way I like it so it was a problem. There is always a bowl of "help yourself" fruit in the lobby along with USA Today Newspapers. Whether you choose continental breakfast or the upgrade breakfast, both hit the spot. The outdoor pool is nice but the hotel is downtown and a row of hedges separates the pool from the sidewalk.
