  Excellent location,close to all major attractions in New York in fact within walking distances.Clean rooms and clean beds with neat linens.In fact when I wanted to change the room allotted to me which did not have a locker to one which had,they did it immediately. The staff at the counter are well trained and ready to help.Excellent comlementary b... vad folk säger » reakfast with nice spread of breads,cerials,juices and hot drinks-even for a vegitarian like me.Coffee/tea available throughout day and night.Excellen - The hotel is on walking distance of Times Square and offers a nice breakfast: good variety. Throughout the day free coffee and tea is available in the lobby. The fitness is relatively small but good, with new equipment (2 tredmills, 1 cross trainer, a bike and some weights). Although our room was almost next to the elevator, it didn't bother us. There are only 6 rooms per floor, which limits the traffic.

  Better than the Belvedere! I visit NY all the time and usually stay in 4 star hotels, sometimes 5. I was a little worried about the Gem, but decided I should try it out. Best decision I made. The place is a gem. It is compulsively clean, beds are new and all white, bathroom was pristine, and the reception staff could not have been more helpful.... vad folk säger » It is a steal as it is half the price of 4 stars - The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Once I put my head down I slept like a baby

  Have to admit I was a little anxious about whether this was a good choice, but it turned out to be perfect! Apt was very clean and newly updated (nice tile, hardwood, cabinets). Seemed very secure. Staff was very responsive-we got in late (11:30p) and no issues w/ getting in side-the representative basically appeared and politely introduced himsel... vad folk säger » f as we walked up to the apt entrance . If you are looking for a value rental (and don't expect 5 star for three start prices) this is definitely the - The apartment is very strategically located very very close to Times Square and easy access to public transportation.   We stayed at Four Points for 4 nights, once we landed in Newark Airport we caught the bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal (Newark Airport Express Bus), the price was $28 each return, or $16 each way. The Four Points hotel is located right next to the bus station (the bus stops on 42nd St – but at the back of the bus station is 40th St where the hot... vad folk säger » el is), the bus pickup point back to the airport is on 41st St. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in, but they let us leave all our cases and bags - The staff was amazing especially Kathia and Mohammed. Kathia was the young lady that checked us in and she was very helpful as well as kind and considerate. Mohammed was one of the gentlemen in the lobby. He stored our luggage so we could go ahead and go site-seeing while we waited on our room. When the room was ready Kathia was very quick to finish the paperwork and get us checked in. Instead of waiting for our luggage, Mohammed told us to go on up to the room and he would bring it up for us.

If u need something all u have to do is call the front desk & no sooner do u hang up the phone are they at your door with whatever u need. Amazing service! Excellent location! I would stay at the Mave every time I need to stay in Manhattan.

  They do not have elevator, the internet is only in the lobby and the breakfast is too simple, but almost all of this are cited in the hotel description. So, I recomend this hotel because it was exactly I expected. My bad grade to the cleaness was because of the bathrooms. However, it happens because of the guests (some people do not know how to sh... vad folk säger » are a bathroom without leave everything dirty), not due to hotel team. The room is cleaned every day, and the hotel have new painting and clean halls - Friendly guys at reception, possibility to leave suitcase there after check-out (for $4), there was even breakfast included in the price (very very basic though, but all I need in the morning is a coffee to get me going :-), easy to meet fellow travellers (the people staying there were all really communicative and friendly and interesting to talk to) in the lounge, which is the only place to get free wifi on your mobile or laptop in the hostel
