  We loved staying in this hotel. It is well located within easy walking distance to SOHO and the East Village. Little Italy is literally behind this hotel. There are hundreds of restaurants in the surrounding areas as well as bars and nightlife. The subway is a 2 block walk away and Union square is a 20 minute walk or a 2 stop Subway ride away.   We loved Maria, the manager at Isola! She was very friendly and helpful. Rachael and Joey, our concierges were awesome! We stopped by their desk daily! They made wonderful suggestions and followed up with reservation for us. They could not have been more helpful or friendly!   The room was small but very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom had extra towels which was quite nice. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. Subways are around the corner. The staff is very polite and lets you know to call them if you need anything. - The location.... vad folk säger » Located on Canal Street. And it was walking distance to the World Trade Center, and a sudway ride to Time Square. And the front desk clerks were really helpful. I noticed some people complained about the noise.....but hey its New York, the city that never sleeps !!

  Very comfortable, elegant hotel in the heart of SoHo, brilliant for shopping and eating out. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.

  The staff were just excellent. Requests were responded to immediately, and the bellmen were wonderful. On several occasions they and the concierge gave us great advice about transportation, places to eat, and things to do, and they always were smiling and friendly. The room was very quiet. We had no street noise, despite being on a busy stree... vad folk säger » t (Canal St.), and didn't hear any other patrons despite being close to the ice machine and the elevator. - I liked the location of the hotel, the room was nice with a very comfortable bed and pillow and great view of the City from the 20th floor. The staff were very good also. We upgraded to the Sheraton Club on the 21st floor which was nice, it had a great view of the City and Hudson River. It is not a luxury hotel but is very comfortable and affordable.

  The room was clean and comfortable although the outlook from the window was onto an unspectacular building! However the room was quiet and relatively peaceful after the noise of New York city!
