This hotel, though on the southern tip of Manhattan, was conveniently located near several subway stations providing access to many different lines. The staff was very friendly, especially the bell hops and front desk
clerk. We had a tv issue and they were in our room in 2 minutes after
the call to fix it. Despite what you read on some reviews, the elevator
wasn't that slow. Plus, it is New York, learn to wait sometimes. We
had a good view of lower Manhattan and the river. The room was very
clean and can best be described as efficient in design. Perfect walking
distance from wtc and the subway. A nice (but very noisy) bar literally

rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and
fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement. It is about a 5
minute walk from wall street subway station and 5 to 10 minutes from the
south street seaport and the Staten island ferry (a great free way to

Conveniently located right near the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a short walk to multiple Subway stations, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Pace University, the 9/11 Memorial, and Battery Park.
