  The location is great, having the Whalers village right next door was so convenient with lots of places to eat out. The beach was lovely, very clean and long enough to walk daily to keep the holiday kilo's down. We loved our unit, it was spacious and comfortable, it overlooked the village and had a great sea view. We would definitely recommend the Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. - Everything about this place is excellent except the pool which is far too small for the amount of guests there are. However as its right on the beach, the ocean and local sea turtles make up for it. The beach is spacious and not crowded. Room is modern, with everything you need. We loved out stay here.

  The villa is so exclusive. Amenities are within rich. There is a shuttle that pick you up from and to the villa if you don't feel like driving. The place is so comfortable. Although I must say that it's a bit confusing to find the villa if your a first timers since the property is huge.   The location is beautiful, the hotel is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful. After arrival they sent us to occupied room, when we returned to front desk, they upgraded us and gave us a voucher for the restaurant. I wish my stay were longer!

  The swimming pool complex was amazing and well-suited for both a 1-year-old and an 8-year-old. A great place for a multi-generational family vacation...perfect for families traveling with the grandparents. Everyone had fun! Exceptional staff. There were a ton of activities on site, and shopping and restaurants at Whaler's Village were just a short... vad folk säger » stroll away. My husband and I were even able to get away for a romantic dinner just the two of us. We are looking forward to returning soon. - Close proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping.   The pool and location were amazing. We lounged around the pool almost every day and enjoyed the friendly service of the waitress that passed by. The hotel is right on the beach and a very short walk to Whaler's Village (a shopping mall).   Loved the atmosphere on the grounds with the open-air lobby and tropical landscaping. The on-site restaurant had excellent food and a view of the pool and ocean. There are a lot of places to stay on Maui, I feel that I stayed in the best location!! Easy to get in and out. Hwy 30 just down the street. The staff made it extremely easy to come and go. They weren't pushy, but available when you needed them.

Since then there has been quite a bit of development of other hotels in the area since then but there is still a feeling of space because of the surrounding golf courses.   Jim Music was very accommodating in getting us a room earlier than check-in. We were very fortunate that we stayed longer the next day since the room wasn't booked.
