The friendliness of the staff. The facilities were quite good. There were two pools and hottubs plus an outside restaurant and bar. The hotel was close to local beaches and downtown. We love coming here because it's close to the cener of Kennebunk Port and it gives us chance to unwind and enjoy each others company in the hot tub with a nice cocktail. Ours was for a quick overnight stop while in route to a further destination. We will remember this location on future trips to this area!.

We have stayed several times and continue to come back there. great value for the money. I would heartily recommend to other people. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, the set up is perfect for a family with young children. Well kept facility...very clean and accomodating at a very reasonble price. A great value that exceeded out expectations. I liked everything about The Rhumb Line. I would defintely stay there again. I would go back. everything was adequate. near to town wildlife. Location. I loved the location even though it was a mile and a half away from the beach. It was good value for the location. friendly staff enjoyable breakfast. country feeling. not much. Sandy. Facilities showed their age. Areas where new paint is required and some carpets should be replaced. Complimentary breakfast was okay but was not as complete as soon some other hotels. A little dated. Just a little too far to walk to town. breakfast is so so. You have to take your car to go to the beach and the center. you have to drive downtown, not close enough to walk. The mattres was hard really I don't sleep well. A little too "basic", no little extra touches usually associated with a resort. Definitely good for a shoe string budget. Does need some updating. Dated decor. Nothing. to get to pool or gym we had to go outdoors, no mircowave in room, should have axcess to coffee and tea all day. Not a thing. I booked through letsbookhotel.com for $119/night, we picked up a coupon on the interstate for $79/night for the same room, that meant a difference of $80 for our 2 nights , although 3 other place we booked through you honored the coupon , Katie at the front desk would not honor it , I was disappointed as and $80 difference would have paid for another night. Thank Vic Hannah. Stairs to third floor and access to pool and bar. the location was a bit out of the way. pool bar and restaurant closed. I did not like the amenties and the hotel it self. It was in need of renovation and the smell of mold permeated the air. Our rooms were clean but very old fashion. There was carpeting in the pool area and pool water had way too much over cholrine. room on third floor no eleavator sheets were not changed every day furniture was not dusted or cleaned. pictures looked better than room needs updating. no a/c in hotel other than in the room putting an older couple on the third floor. Everything else.
