  Once there it looked like we booked at the no tell hotel. However, the room was very clean, we ate breakfast sitting out on the chairs on bay side and it was wonderful and relaxing. It worked great for us great. We had two queen beds, a little hard for my liking a small kitchenette, but my brother stopped by for a night and w - The accommodations were excellent. The cleaning staff did a great job everyday. You couldn't ask for better location. Surrounded by excellent places to eat along with the best ice cream shops on the island. We can't wait to go back! Shipwrecks Hotel staff were also very friendly!

  Everything! Room was steps from dock, pool, beach, restaurants, shops, kayaking, fishing, you name it, is all in walking distance! Owners are wonderful, accommodating, nice people! Couldn't ask for more!   Really friendly, comfortable hotel where the decor is New England/antique in theme. We loved it! Bed was super comfy with generous pillows and nice bedding. Well equipped kitchenette (coffee maker, cooker, cooking utensils/pots, etc) and clean bathroom. Great free wifi access. Lots of parking on site. Was in EXCELLENT loca - We had a lovely self contained apartment at the Flamingo. It contained everything to prepare meals and good cold storage facilities for food. Nice little outside area suitable for 2 people attached to the room. Staff were helpful. We asked if a trip to the everglades could be arranged and they did this for us. Despite reading a comment indicating it was a long way from the beach this was not the case. No more than 100 yards away from the warm waters of the Gulf. Plenty of room on a vast beach.

  We stopped at a convenience store before we arrived. Told the clerk we were staying here. She rolled her eyes and said to keep our luggage off the floor and that they had bugs. We got there and were delighted to find a newly renovated room...fresh paint, new carpet....even the sheets on the bed smelled good. We WILL stay there again. - The rooms were clean and the staff discreet coming in only to tidy /clean room when you vacated . Does what is says on the tin ! recomend the motel
