The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly, the
premises were well kept, and the price was right! They even upgraded me
to a double-queen room when I had originally booked a single queen
(before I knew my adult daughter would be staying with me), for less
than $8 more. The location is just a couple of miles from the aquarium,

This was an older facility but our "cottage" had been remodeled and was very nice. Perfect for traveling with two children as there was two bedrooms, one with twin beds, one with a queen size. There was a very comfortable kitchen with new appliances but we stayed only the one night so it was not used. A good spot for a longer stay. The room was very clean.

The location of this hotel is incredible, right on the beach with a

Their location is right on a beautiful beach with uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean - it's fantastic! The hotel is also well designed to allow views and access to the ocean all throughout the facility.
This Best Western truly takes advantage of its prime location.
Also it is very conveniently located right off the Highway 1, and is just outside of Monterey so the beach is primarily for hotel guests!

It was beautiful. Very comfortable. I booked for a group of friends and was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. We really enjoyed our stay although it was only 1 night. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The gentlemen making the omletes on the morning of June 8th did a amazing job and was very interactive with us. Its not often you remember the cook.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The complimentary happy hour was a good opportunity to meet others staying at the hotel and the ambiance was nice, we sat on a sofa by the fireplace. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was excellent.
The room was totally updated.
The bathroom was updated and the shower/jaccuzi was fantastic!
The roof was a patio where you can sit and watch the ocean while sipping your drink.

Hotel is in a great part of the coast between LA and SF. The hotel was comfortable and within walking distance of the shops. We did drive to the old fisherman's wharf. Overall a good place to stay -
The hotel was good. Had a self service laundry. Some rooms have a chaise lounge which was big enough for our 11 year old to sleep on, but make sure you ask for one when you check in. The hotel is on the edge of town, but walking distance to Fishermans wharf. There is a free tram to Cannery row and the aquarium. Best place to eat - Rosines on Alverado street. HUGE portions of cake. Best breakfast - Denny's just across the road.

The hotel location was great as it was close to everything. I told the staff I was celebrating an anniversary and not only did they give us a complimentary bottle of wine, but they called the restaurant where we had a reservation and told them so they did something special for us. What a beautiful town & hotel.Stayed here for 5 days in July as we had travelled to see the Moto Gp racing at Laguna Seca. We had Yamaha & Ducati pit crew staying in our hotel. Well placed for the Harbour and bars etc. Fishermans Wharf is beautiful. must have been around 1000 motorbikes parked n the streets. Amazing place. Will definitely

We have stayed at least twice a year at the Padre Oaks. The staff is more than friendly and efficient - the rooms are adequate in size but the pillows leave a lot to be desired. Glad we bring our own. The property is wonderful - all with beautiful flowers and well cared for. Its a sure and dependable inn and close to the Monterey Shopping Center with shopping and dining spots. We will be returning. Thanks, Carol

Really enjoyed our stay at the Monterey Bay Inn. Location was great - in between Fisherman's Warf and Cannery Row and the scenery was gorgeous. Loved the sound of the sea lions in the distance, too. Carpet in hallways needed cleaning, but our room was spacious and clean. Great value with the continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again!
