On bus line...but taxis are pretty cheap in the UAE...shops,restaurants near bye. We were upgraded to a suite which made our stay truly amazing!!! Great room! On the day of check out, my wife was not feeling well and they were kind enough to allow us to check out late...EXCELLENT Service experience!

  There is NO shadow of doubt that the hotel Sands staff are very polite, very fiendly and courteous all the way thru right from upon arriving and entering the lobby till I had to leave.The rooms and bathrooms everything is clean and lovely I was at the Harvester Pub, Chequers Bar and Tipar Bar and have no complaints.   Very kind hotel stuff!! Had a great time - Very nice polite helpful friendly staff, could not be better!Very clean ,Great location in the center of city as near all the shops food etc.Clean 5 star service .Very nice swimming pool on top of hotel. Not big, but very private not crowded.

  Allt med hotellet var kanon. - Desk manager was excellent, as were front desk employees. We had a problem with a trainee front desk staff; 1st) the trainee made my wife pay a deposit before they would give her the key. Ok, understood. The manager was very apologetic and refunded the mone - It is a lovely hotel, pure luxury in Emirates style. The room was a good size and beautifully decorated. I had a good view of the city. The rooftop pool was heated and a nice way to get some exercise. Since taxis are relatively cheap in Abu Dhabi, I used them to get around. But the bus station is literally right across the street so you could easily use buses to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Grand Millennium and would stay again!

  Hotel is clean. Right on airport street. Very easy to take a cab. There is also a bus station right in front in hotel, even though buses are very slow in auh, pretty crowded and infrequent. Parking in hotel is free which is good. If you rent a car you have to valet park it at hotel (for free). This is necessary as they have crazy rules for meters ... vad folk säger » in auh that are active until mid night even in residential areas. Hotel is right next door to Wahda mall. Mall has all you need including a big box st - Location . Location. Location. Al Wahdah Mall is just round the corner. You can have great meals there without breaking the bank. Close to the main bus terminal. You take a bus on a day trip-shopping trip-to Dubai. You can go to Sharjah and from there visit all the other emirates. It is a conducive place to stay as it is your entry point to the UAE. Looking forward to staying there again and again.
