Frukost serveras varje morgon på rummet. Många olika kaféer och restauranger ligger inom 2 minuters promenad från hotellet.
Till den centrala gatan Khreschatyk med butiker och barer promenerar du på 2 minuter, och S:t Mikaels katedral med gyllene klocktorn ligger 5 minuters promenad bort.
Tunnelbanestationen Maidan Nezalezjnosti ligger bara 2 minuters promenad från Sunflower B&B Hotel. Kievs centralstation ligger 4 km bort, och Boryspils internationella flygplats ligger 35 km från hotellet.

Around entrance of building looks like ruin,but inside is totally different and well controled for security.
Staff is so kind and friendly all the time. some staff didn't speak english very well, however,I didn't care because of their friendly behavior , and I enjoyed trying to understand each other.
room is big enough with pretty furniture. Always clean.
Breakfast is also nice with coffee,cereal,yogurt,denish,fruit,jam..on the pretty wagon and is served to the room.

When we arrived, it seemed a bit seedy, but once we got in, the staff
was lovely. I asked for hot water for tea and got a whole tray with
cookies, hot water, cups, etc, and it was replenished for the entire
time we were there (same for wine glasses). The young girl there was
amazing and spent a lot of time marking places on a map for us to find
our way around. The room was comfortable with tons of storage (I think I
counted 39 drawers).
Very clean, staff was very polite, good breakfast, air-conditioning that actually worked, room safe, very good bathroom. All in all, the room had all the essentials except a fridge.
Also, the lady that was on duty the day we left went completely out of her way to find us a taxi and even negotiate a price with the driver. I am totally impressed to the point where I would recommend the hotel for this act alone.
The hotel has a great location, on a side street very close to the independance square. It is not an ordinary hotel building but a residential building where the first floor was converted into hotel rooms, yet the room was very quiet and we liked its interior design.
Breakfast was fine but limited since there is no kitchen in the hotel.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Previous reviews were correct about narrow staircase but the venue is incredibly well-situated and good value for this part of the city (including breakfast). Zoya helped with taxi, sites and so on. Enjoyed the b&b and highly recommend it. Also, this hotel is strictly non-smoking which worked for us! :).
Perfect location for site-seeing (and 1 minute walk from major metro station); Very ample room with nice desk (if you are on a business trip, it feels like working from home!); Attentive staff and good breakfast delivered to your room.
Superb location, close to a wonderful park, quiet yet 5 mins from main square of Kiev. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Best price /value ratio.

small homely hotel with good prices for Kyiv.
The older lady that was with us the last couple of days was not nearly
as friendly as the young one. She seemed to be a bit annoyed with us.
Hotel is on the first floor of a building with no elevator, long and steep stairs. Had difficulty getting my heavy luggage up.
The bed was small and not so comfortable. No tea/cofee making facilities.
Small duvet (but I had the same problem in a super expensive hotel).
