  Sarah och John är mycket trevliga. Hotellet ligger bra, nära till allt, tyst och lugnt. Bra frukost och väldigt gemytligt. - We choose this hotel because of the reviews and it did not disapoint, it was immaculate, really nice building and superb rooms. We were also shown the superior rooms, which were beautiful and would pay the extra money to stay in one if we go again. - Sara greeted us with a lovely coffee and biscuit as soon as we arrived. A personable, professional service. The hotel was so clean throughout, you could eat your meal off the floor! Breakfast was great. Our bedroom was beautifully and tastefully decorated. My boyfriend and I went for a romantic, restful weekend and that is what we got. We will definitely go again!

  The staff were very friendly , welcoming and always ready to help. The location , set in woods and hills above Lake Windermere , is fantastic. As for the hotel , it had character and charm , with some very appealing features. The food was excellent. - Attention to detail and being made extremely welcome
