  We were all (including our 4 year old) made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The room was lovely and very clean. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we would definitely like to return. - Exceptionally friendly and helpful owners, comfortable rooms, excellent food. Very good value.

  The personal attention from the staff was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble from when we arrived ( offering to carry the bags etc ) to ensuring the room was O/K for us ( managing to provide the type of room we requested ), to meeting all our needs at breakfast and checking we were happy with our stay there prior to departure. - Excellent... vad folk säger » on everything. very nice helpful, friendly owners and staff. could not do enough for me. They don't have a car park but there is 1 hour parking in front of the hotel and you can buy one or more tickets for 24 hour parking on the street: £1 per day. The staff were very helpful. For example, they were happy to put our mountain bikes in their conference room overnight, to avoid leaving them in our car. The full English breakfast was very high quality. Overall, we felt we'd had a better experience at a lower price than we'd have had at their Nationally-known compet

  The amazingly friendly reception from the manager, the room was exceptional, the bed so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. I have never felt so comfortable straight away. This trip was only a short break, but if we could have stayed longer, we would have.   Excellent standard of hotel and staff. They kindly upgraded me to a double room with a great view for no extra charge without me asking. Restaurant dinner was excellent and good portions. Very pleasant stay and would visit again. - Size of room, choice and value of meals, comfort of public rooms. The staff were most helpful at all times.
