The staff were very helpful and the bed and bedroom was very comfortable however the bar could have been open later. One night we went to the bar but couldn't find any staff. We thought it was closed so went out for a drink only to find out when we came back that we could have had a drink in the hotel bar if we had rang the bell in the hall! This information was put on an information sheet on the hall table which was not very prominent. If this could have been displayed on the bar we would have. alla recensioner »
The location is great, right on the sea front with all amenities close by. Transport for various destinations close by. Boat trips available. Very clean beach, good quality of water, great for children. Fish and chips to die for. Hotel lovely, Great breakfast, room comfortable, Large bathroom. Would definitely stay again. Huge antique emporium just opened by the harbour and all the shops you need and more. Great place for a break.
The B&B'S owner and staff were fantastic, such lovely people,
and helped out very much. The room was great, with an awesome view...
And a very funky shower! Parked our car with no problems whatsoever.
Quite a few things to do in the evening, and also have happy hour on
cocktails! Not too far from Lulworth Cove, which was beautifully
amazing! The room was clean and comfortable, and would definitely stay
there again.
Room7 floor to ceiling sash windows allowing you to gaze accross
weymouth bay whilst led in a very comfortable bed. The shower ( we
called it the Dalek) with built in radio and body jets was great.
Friendly staff and owner. Breakfast was good, price was reasonable for
like for like hotel and facilities, would stay again.
view of the sea and the amazing shower which was state of the art ! Comfortable bed and very warm room on a chilly evening. friendly recept ion from everyone and tasteful decoration of this period hotel. Wish our stay had been longer and would definately book another short break.
The owner and the staff were very friendly and helpful, great location - no problems parking the owner lent us a permit. Cocktails at happy hour buy one get one free, fantastic. A short walk into the main streets and amazing views across Weymouth Bay. Hope to visit again.

Weymouth has loads to do whatever the weather. Acqua Beach Hotel is great. Friendly staff great location. Bar restaurant area very well decorated. Rest of the hotel not so , but is catching up. would recommend and stay here again.

We had a lovely big room which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the location right on the sea front was brilliant.

On arrival we received a friendly welcome from the proprietor. We were given an option to upgrade to a nicer room, which we took. Room clean and comfortable.

We loved our room, one of the refurbished superior double rooms. It had a lovely comfortable double bed, cosy decor & the fancy shower in the bathroom.
The breakfast & staff were also great.
i liked the friendly and polite staff, two young girls on breakfast duty were both helpful and polite well mannered girls and the breakfast was everything my wife and i could want full marks.
GO STAY AT THE ACQUA BEACH!! Great hotel, great location, fantastic bar (!!), comfortable room & bed, awesome breakfast! We had a sea view, which was beautiful and absolutely worth it!!.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfortable, shower was lovely, the two girls in the evening and again at breakfast were very friendly..... I would highly recommend.
Staff and owner exceptionally friendly. Location great and sea view room with balcony - brilliant. I was able to reserve parking as my husband has minor disability. Breakfast great.

I can honestly say, there were no problems or faults whatsoever. Not
quite sure why the B&B may have had any previous bad reviews,
there's nothing Charlotte (I believe the B&B owner) would not
have done to rectify any thing that is in her control, she was such a
polite and helpful woman.
Curtains were a pain in the a**e to open and close but this is nothing
to be put off by.
Still some updating to do, but it all takes time and money, and they are getting there! We had no complaints!.
We were on the top floor and the bathroom was very small but it is a Georgian house so i appreciate it is very hard to add en-suites in a period building.
Would not recommend Acqua Beach to elderly or disabled as lots of stairs and no lift.

Parking was HORRENDOUS we spent near 2 hours trying to find a parking space within our permit area.

Hotel operation info would be good in the bedrooms for reference, as recommended places to eat, visit etc.
My beautiful ocean view also meant I was over the road and got all that
noise. Sign was small so it was hard to find hotel at night.

Rooms could do with updating to match the downstairs. We had a great looking shower cabin in our room with side jet and rainfall shower but all you could get was a trickle!.
Just a couple of grumps or call it advice. Please inform guest's when booking that you have improvement work going, and when you have a pre arranged function in the bar. We understand improvements have to be done low season and it did not affect our stay in any way.
Although recently decorated, the bedroom had no towel rails or shelves for toiletries.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Bed was hard but that is just personal taste.
Didn't like the fact it didn't have a bath and the curtains where really hard to shut. Also it was a little bit cold at night in the room, felt like it culd of had the heating on for abit.
Bedroom could do with updating to bring in line with the communal areas downstairs, however it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The double bedroom (12) which we stayed in had bunk beds to sleep another 5? It had the tiniest bathroom for a double.
Room was on the side of the hotel . With the window open at night (it was very hot weather) there was a lot of noise from the street. Also hotel not really suitable for people who have difficulty with stairs.

We were allocated a small room. letsbookhotel.com shows modern rooms on their
site, but when booking in March we were not given a choice of rooms as
shown on the web site. If letsbookhotel.com had given us a choice, we would
have chosen a better room. Wi Fi was not available in all areas of the
hotel. Due to sewer work on the Hotel, the reserved parking we requested
was not available to us. We were given a parking permit to use but
parking in that area was a nightmare even with the permit.
The view from bedroom was not great.
Cooked breakfast was a bit small. Particular room was at the back so little ventilation.
no hairdryer in room, we had to go out and buy one!!
Modern shower unit a bit restrictive and would be awkward for someone less mobile.
Weather could have been better.
Room was quite small and bed linen seemed quite old. But it was clean.
Complicated Shower printed instructions on how to use would be helpful.
No mirror in the bathroom and single duvets were much too small!.
