The owners! We really liked Mary and John and found them very helpful, outgoing and easy to get on with. You don't have to be mad to stay there - or like gnomes - but it helps!
We stayed in the small double room. It was very clean, comfortable and cosy, though hanging space for clothes was at a bit of a premium - not too much bother if you were staying for only a few days like we did.
The bathroom was comfortable, neat and a decent sized shower.

Everything basically was to our taste, excellent hosts, John & Mary couldn't have been more helpful. Great welcome, we arrived early but told to come in - no problem! A great location for all our needs; free parking, buses, walk-in-centre/A&E across the main road, shops, pubs, restaurants all in good walking range, even for olds like ourselves! Certainly recommend Park Edge for happy people! Will hopefully come again next year should the skeletons still be functional! Thanks Mary & .
very friendly welcome, Lovely room very cosy, all amenities provided, clean and tidy, The bed was very comfortable, had a bath in wash room. A very nice couple who own the guesthouse, couldn't do enough for us, very chatty over breakfast, constantly offering tea/coffee refills, milk top ups and/or offering more toast or cereal etc. Had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast too. cant say enough good things about Park edge, would highly recommend to anyone to stay here, we will definitely stay there .
Everything!!! As a young couple going to the seaside for a weekend getaway we couldn't of asked for anything more. The staff were brilliant and would do anything possible to make u feel welcome, the breakfast was nice and a reasonable time!! When we go back to Weymouth we will most certainly be looking here first for availability. We wood like to thank everybody at The Park Edge for making our stay at Weymouth very enjoyable.
Mary and John were lovely hosts. Very friendly,funny and kept us entertained during breakfast.Plenty to eat at breakfast and freshly cooked. As we were the last guests on Sunday morning they told us to take our time leaving past the 10am checkout and even made a sausage sandwich for my husband to take with us, as he didn't wake in time for breakfast that morning.
It was really clean and comfortable and the owners were more than welcoming and friendly. The location was great as it was near to the beach but far enough away from any noise. The breakfast was really nice too.
It was a very enjoyable stay,friendly couple,clean and comfortable room. Also could keep our car parked for the next day which was a nice bonus as we wanted to make the most of our break.

Errm, nothing. If, like us, you have an attention span greater than a sherbet-fuelled five year old and can actually read instructions on a web site, then you'll go knowing what to expect and have an enjoyable stay.
Someone mentioned sausages, ok they were not like our local Sainsbury or Aldi ones. Our home mattress is a memory foam one. But nothing is 100% like being at home. That's true on any holiday, so lets be fair and honest with our complaints! Tell them to the hosts directly! Don't winge afterwards!.

Looked on the internet site as though the room we booked overlooked a harbour with what looked like boats outside the room when, in fact, it overlooked a road with an advertising hoarding opposite. So this was a bit disappointing.

"Superior room was only so regarding the bathroom. The rest of the room was too small and no large closet for hanging coats etc.
