  Also reviewed the Appleby on TripAdvisor, but in summary, staff were really excellent, very efficient and friendly, breakfast was fabulous, room comfortable, clean and of good size. Great value for money. We didn't use the bar/restaurant but it looked very busy, it's clearly very popular. - Staff very friendly and welcoming. Tea/coffee making facilities included biscuits and plenty of tea/coffee/milk/sugar not just usual two of everything you find in most places. Rooms lovely and warm. Good choice at breakfast too.
