sharon was very welcoming and freindly as we were the only ones staying she kindly up graded us to a larger room which was very tastefully decorated. we had a lovely choice of not only a cooked breakfast but also poached eggs with spinach and holandise or scrambled with salmon. it was a real treat as sharon is a great cook and we were only expecting traditional cooked breakfast. forge house is decorated very tastefully and you are welcomed in to her home not only a b&b. the bed was huge and. alla recensioner »
We had a wonderful few days in Sharon's beautiful home. The room
decor and facilities are first class, and breakfast fantastic. I stay in
many hotels throughout the year on business and will be looking for any
excuse to stay here again. Sharon could not have made us more welcome
and was invaluable in providing local information. The location is
superb for anyone wanting a central hub and we visited, Bath, Bradford
on Avon, Cheddar and Frome with great ease.
A very warm welcome, really made us feel at home. Our hostess was delightful.We were in the loft which felt very private, exclusive and luxurious. A fantastic view and a pleasant outdoor seating area. Breakfast felt like being at home; the quality of the food was excellent. A good central base for exploring the surrounding countryside: gardens/National Trust properties, villages, Bradford on Avon & Bath.
Absolutely fantastic trip, we came up to have a quiet, relaxing few days away and it was absolutely perfect. The owner was so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Excellent location to visit Longleat and there are some beautiful little towns in the area with great places to eat. The room was lovely, great stay.
The reception from the owner was exceptional very pleasant amiable and relaxed, I arrived late due to travel issues and she stayed awake to make sure that I was okay. Greatly appreciated after a long journey, will defiantly re visit in the future, the styling and comfort was exceptional, well recommended.
Location is superb-in the heart of the countryside yet easy to get to other places. A warm, friendly welcome. The accommodation is modern, light and airy, beautifully fitted out and meticulously maintained. Nothing is too much trouble. A proper, delicious full English breakfast!.
The room was beautiful and the house was well designed & tasteful. Sharon made us feel very welcome & was really helpful and accomodating towards our newborn baby. We really enjoyed our short stay there and wished we had more time to explore the local area.
Great parking area, warm welcome, superb bedrooms and bathrooms, excellent breakfasts, nothing was too much trouble, extra touches that just set this venue apart. Great value for money, outstanding, highly recommended. Ideal base for visiting Bath, Salisbury etc.
Contemporary, clean and comfortable. The owner is friendly and the breakfast is very good. A definate recommend for anyone who is used to staying away on business as this is not your typical chintzy B&B.
Everything! I spend my life in hotels and it's the first time I've stayed in a B&B when on business. Forge House is beautiful, comfortable, informal, friendly and accommodating, Sharon the owner is fab!.

if i wanted to be picky there were a few cracks in the on suite that needed filling but it was a new extension and cracks were to be expected.
