  Lovely old house and garden, we were well served and treated. We got quite a good price for an establishment of this sort. Plenty of space. The next day we thought we would be able to luxuriate in the building but is was taken over by a visiting group so we had to find odd corners for ourselves. We had vacated our room by this time. I let on that our friends were having a belated silver wedding anniversary celebration and the staff provided a beautifully decorated plate of petit fours. It is also great to find a hotel that accepts newspaper vouchers.

  Lovely decor, they've made a big effort to keep up to date with their furniture, etc. Especially liked the semi-separated areas. I would imagine if you had a family gathering/party it would suit very well. - The food was great with a very relaxed & friendly atmosphere.   Great location, central for Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Wells and Longleat.easy to get to, free off road parking. The owners were helpful without being too intrusive. We had the Green bedroom which was large and well furnished - super four poster bed and single. A great power shower/bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities available as was a hair dryer.... vad folk säger » Breakfast was fantastic and set you up for the day. We liked the individuality of the rooms and the history of the building. The current owners have - A wonderful country house full of history and period features and décor. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. We are in the area from time to time and would definitely stay at The Old Parsonage again.

  We stayed for 2 nights for our 1st wedding anniversary and so glad I picked the right place. The staff were very friendly and polite catering for all our needs. The room was superb and would recommend a stay anytime. - Bedding quality and comfort of the mattress. Thick curtains to keep out any light.   The staff were very attentive and courteous, The Tavern not only afforded fine ales and wine but served an excellent meal. Breakfast was served to order, they even brought my daughter a pastry with a candle for her birthday. Rooms while located in the original buildings but had been renovated with modern ammenities king size beds and modern toilet... vad folk säger » facilities. While our stay only lasted one night if our plans had allowed we would have stayed longer. - The staff treated you like royalty, bringing your meals to your suite and even pouring out your wine for you! The room was magnificent, a nice big comfy bed, and little treats in the draws. Our stay in the kings arms unforgettable!
