  The landlord is new and very welcoming, we were on a xmas lads night out and I booked 2 triple rooms, which I have to say we're very big and we're great for us .taxi into Chester was £15 We had a meal in the George and dragon across the road and the food was brilliant. Lovely village and would recommend it to others . Before I booked, I read othe... vad folk säger » r peoples reviews and got good and bad reviews , some negatives were that the pubs was loud and noisy . We had no problems with noise at all . On my a - Room was excellent. Clean and homely with lots of character. Towles and linen crisp and spotless. TV/DVD combi with freeview. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. Great value for money. Good 'locals' pub. Village location. Overall, a really comfortable 4 night stay. Going back next week !!!
